Two of the four places I've found it are now empty. They were the reasonably priced places. Some jackass with the initials TW grabbed the last bottles.

One if the places left has one bottle for $40. Haven't been back to the 4th but they only had one bottle at the time.

Problem is I've been drinking the **** out of it. I've bought 8 or 9 bottles and I'm down to 5. One of which I opened tonight.

Found balvanie samplers today. 13 bucks for 50 ml each of DW 12, Caribbean cask, and the 17 year one with the maroon label.

The places I was at today seemed to think they'd get more sometime. I mentioned his death and they thought that had nothing to do with it. They also seemed like dumb asses.

HEY!!! I'm the original Elmer tout. It's all my fault for telling everyone. I never should have sent a bottle to DPNewell. I bet that jackazz bought it all on the cheap. I have one lonely bottle hidden away, unfortunately I know where I hid it.

Well if you're talkin Single Barrels.........yes there will be some differences barrel to barrel.Obviously the best Single Barrels are the most consistent which Elmer has always been for me.But if you truly have lost your taste for it you have my snailer.LOL

Miley not sure what you are talking about. I've been enjoying the **** out of this stuff. Just opened a new bottle last night that didn't Horne like the others thus the question.

It could also be that I was drinking balvanie first and shot my palate.

I'll try it first tonight.

Whistle you already have 2 or more comming. This bottle reminded me more of the Weller.

TW, most of my bottles of the Single Malt have come from the distiller itself, some special events where they could sell at the premises. So far I cant tell that much variation between the different bottles but Ron is right, because they are a small batch kinda distiller there are some differences between the batches even with all the care and craftsmanship they take in creating their stuff.

It's the bottle. It comes across flat and missing all the complicated flavors/spice. I opened up another bottle and it is excellent. None of my other bottles came from that store so I'm thinking the odds of that happening again are slim to none.

It's not like it's bad. It's just different. It really does remind me of the Weller. I'll drink it, but I'll drink the other open bottle first lol.

Switching to dahlwinnie though.

Picked up a bottle of Woodford Reserve yesterday. I'm enjoying this tasting trip I'm on. In the last 6 months or so I've had the pleasure to working my way through 4-5 bottles of nh bourbons.
