yum. but found out today that they sell this on post for $20 cheaper than what i got it for outside. lesson learned, check the class VI often.

The best I can remember was the last day my wife, my cat Cheetos, and I climbed a mountain up above Morongo Valley California. The view was spectacular, and we made the summit just at sunset. We sat on a ledge and watched the sun disappear when I saw a glint of light 8 feet below me. I dropped down the cliff face and there was a bottle of Old Balvenie. It has a swallow left. It was great. Been looking for it since.

Yes it is......My wife has already claimed the one you sent.Maybe 4 fingers left in it so she'll be getting it fairly soon.

BTW you're right.......a teaspoon of water tames the flame.

Ron

I know, makes a huge difference. Give me a holler if you want another.

Elmer tonight, glad I stashed the other bottle as this one is nearly gone.

I think I read somewhere it is world whiskey day today. So after some yardwork and running some errands I suppose I could enjoy a sip or 2 of something.

Found a dahlwhinnie distillers edition 1996 at a shop today. Asked how much it was. They looked it up and quoted me the price of dahlwhinnie. I told them no this isn't regular dahlwhinnie. They said it's been there and they'd like to get rid if it. $50. Should be $100 I'd guess.

Old Bardstown Estate Bottled 101...nothing but heat! Even with a little water, I could not calm it down. Finally turned it into a Manhattan.

Clyde May's Conecuh Ridge........Pretty tasty but I think if they'd have left it at 100 or higher proof it'd have more flavor.I'd like to try it at 110-120/cask strength.
