hot, but beautiful weather, water was freezing at the Jewish Riviera though. Tripod shrunk to merely "gifted".

Lost the battle with grass pollen today. Still got an hour or two on the hammock.

Decent day. Back to the rockpile in the morn.

Watching the Confederations Cup final. Still sorer than I'd like to be, but can't really complain.

What were you doing to bring on the soreness?

Taped the Confederate Cup. Only made it to halftime. The second half is on Tuesday's viewing agenda.

So, a patient last night had a 7 lb poo...

It was impressive.

Didn't weigh the poo, but it happened after morning weights so I took another weight. Down 7lb.

Would have been even better if it wasnt used for fingerpainting and sculpting by the patient... ram27bat

What is the weight mass ratio of poo? Is it a linear relationship or is their a variable weight/mass relationship? Can you continue this study and show us graphs?

2 gringos chupacabra brisket magic. Google it. Buy it. I usually make my own but I've been using this in everything. Chicken last night, eggs this morning, potatoe salad for lunch. Yum.

The end.

my problem with products like this one is that at least 50% of the ingredients are functional ingredients that keep it shelf stable, stop it from clumping in the jar, or prevent the other ingredients from going stale...

Salt, Garlic, Sugar, Brown Sugar, Onion, Paprika, Chili Peppers, Bell Peppers, Butter, Lemon...

easy to do at home... but when you want to buy it, they have to add a bunch of stuff it only needs because it has to be made shelf stable... just my thought...

I don't disagree, at all, Opel... I like making my own dry rub, but even then I still have to buy the different spices from the store. Smoked paprika, cumin, granulated garlic... etc.

And usually for me, wayyy to much. I'm not a salt-a-holic, I rarely use it when cooking.

Homemade dry rub is way better than store/online bought stuff imo.

nonsense! you should be growing all of that yourself! there's no excuse not to have an 8 year supply of self-smoked paprika at all times...

Never underestimate the power of laziness.

Besides... all those proprietary preservatives give it flavor you just can't get with freshly grown stuff.

Yeah... the "soil" is more like sand/dust... and it's now covered with artificial turf and rocks.

My wife and I are thinking about putting in artificial turf in both our front and back yards. We live in a desert: the likelihood of continuing droughts and the cost of water are weighing in that direction.

Survived the dive in the "kelp forests" of Monterey... interesting but with visibility at 10 ft it really is hard to see much. No sharks showed up to try to eat me or anything fun like that.
