I almost had a job walking the dogs onto the racetrack in 1972 but I wouldn't cut my hair. But I didn't and I wonder why. I felt like letting my freak flag fly. i wasn't givin' in an inch to fear.

Now mind you it wasn't much over my ears but it was the principal of the thing.........and I liked CSN&Y.

It only increases my paranoia, like looking in my mirror and seeing a Po-lice carfog

Cool. How fast do you get that done?

What is the altitude there?

My old puppy dog can barely eek out a mile now.

Is three miles to a Chihuhua the same as three miles to a Great Dane? What would be tbe conversion ratio?

There would be a conversion ratio. Any time I took my Rhodesian Ridge back out for a walk and would take my mothers Chihuahua. The Chihuahua could not keep up so every 3 yards I would put Boot To Ass and punt the little one 10 - 20 feet. So the 120lb Rhodesian would have to take allot more steps. I think it was like 20 steps to 1 punt ratio.

But lets see the whole formula not just the conversion. You need to add steps per yard for each and total yards traveled.

5280yards is 3 miles
Chi takes 3 steps per yard
Rodesian 1 steps per yard.
Chi is punted for a total of 1760 yards through out the entire trip. leftover yardage which the chi must walk is 3520 yards
making a total of 10560 steps for the leftover yardage
Rodesian taking 1 steps per yard x 5280 yd =5280 steps for the Rodesian

chi 3 steps x 3520yd =10560 steps
ridge back 1 steps x 5280yards = 5280 steps
10560steps / 5280steps = Ratio 2/1

So even with boot to ass Chi has to take 2x more steps therefor making a 3 mile hike 6 lol.

That's as about as close this stroke guy is going to get to formula. Brick wall Brick wall Brick wall Brick wall

What if the chihuahua was carrying a European Swallow? or a coconut?

I suppose the European Swallow could be carrying the coconut while the chihuahua carries them both. The swallow could flap it's wings 43 times per second to generate lift. Although I can hardly see how a 5 oz bird could carry a 1 lb coconut.

It seems the most efficient way to do this would be for the Rhodesian Ridgeback to be carrying the chihuahua, the European Swallow, AND the coconut. Maybe in some sort of little basket strapped to it's back with a slanted windscreen to cut down on wind resistance.

Now...if we're talking about an AFRICAN swallow...all bets are off.

It is exactly the same. The chihuahua should be fed to the great dane, thereby making the trip in the great dane's stomach.

Science.

you know that sport that combines baseball and athletic drinking, where the guy has to chug a beer then put his forehead the the end of a bat and spin in circles, then try to run to the next base? that's what I look like trying to do anything other than fishing on 2 hours of sleep...

Had a bad day. Puppy had a stroke, work drama at 110 percent and wife popped a tire on the new car. Thankfully she and the kids are safe and pups temperament seems unchanged. Closing my eyes.
