Back to work

Hopefully no butt stuff. Though, I'll take dealing with poo and buttholes over tracheostomies any day.

I've had two patients die within a few hours of digging out their fecal impactions.

In my defense, they were on the way out and it was a comfort measure but I'm still the butt of that joke at work.

Just keep the knives out of the wife's reach! She might end up taking you for a joy ride on da golf cart and you may never come back. fog

Besides, I want my chance to shoot at you wearing the vest at the fishin herf! I wont get my shot if you all full of stab wounds! Then it would just be boring like putting down a lame mule. Beer

Maybe we can talk CI into one of those dunk things at cigarfest and to put Drafter in the dunk chair. (If he should survive the bulllet proof jacket thingy).

This is atypical for me, Spey. Wife is visiting family in the Philippines, so I signed up to work just about every day she's gone except Wednesdays. We are not allowed to work more than 6 days in a row.

I work 12 hour shifts, nights right now, from 4:30 pm to 4:30 am. Usually Sunday through Tuesday and every other Saturday. That gives me an 84 hour pay period. This pay period I am working 12 out of 14 days... so it's 84 hours of straight time and 60 hours of overtime. OT days are from 6pm to 6am.

I'm choosing to 'bank' my hours instead of getting paid. So when my wife comes back I will have earned 120 hours (10 days) off and 4 hours of OT pay. 7 days of OT x 18 hours = 126. Our comp banks can't exceed 120, so the last 4 hours will be paid as OT (4 x 1.5 = 6).

I'd rather have the paid time off than the money.

Morning dudes, about to burn some pipe baccy assessing how all this rain in SOCAL turned the yard into a weed patch, then front brakes on the Harley. Overdue and gotta have stoppers sometimes

Woman's dogs birthday today.
She accidentally forgot and had me get ballet tix for tonight.

So since she cannot cook the dog a steak tonight she panicked last night and tried to get a carryout steak and lobster from the nearby place. They don't do that... So she called around until she found a place that would get her carryout aged ribeye and lobster for the dog.

Now I am waiting at a coffee shop until she goes and picks up brunch for the dog.

Meh...I got the ribeye and lobster that was leftover and didn't have to buy it .... And I'm getting brunch later today that I don't have to pay for....

I call that a win.

Belated good morning, y’all. 5 mile walk, dump run, hair cut, car washed, cleaned and vacuumed. Now on the deck, partly cloudy and ~70°.

Ya know Frank... I would push that so I could get more steak and lobster.
But given that she also celebrates the dead dogs birthdays with steak and lobster, and given that she has an affinity for hospice dogs... I think we'll have plenty of these soon enough.

Not even in the same league as Dan.

Victor, it sounds like you’ll eventually have steak and lobster every night....

That's the plan monkey... That's the master plan.

Gotta make sure she adopts new dogs on different days of the year so she can't stack up the celebrations....
