I like Gelsosomos for this. There's a tangy bite to their sauce that elevates their pies. Though they only cover NWI, not the entirety of Chicagoland.

Morning, Ram and the rest of youse

Gelsosomos sauce is similar to Aurelios, but the crust is so much better at Aurelios.

Drove around for an hour both stop n go traffic and highway with the camper and didn't have any issues. Hopefully there's no issues to Michigan and back.

Oscar Meyer Wienermobile was at the grocery store so we stopped and took a picture with it. Saw it last summer broken down on the side of 94. First time I've seen it up close.

got up early and shut off the AC...yay.
good thunderstorms last night and that cleared out the lingering heat and humidity.
windows open and the day looks gorgeous, though probably too cool for the beach.
great cigar weather...

Same here, booming thunderstorms last night, woke up to mid 70's and no humidity...beautiful day! Amazing, because yesterday we were melting just sitting in the shade...

Ran to Aldi to get more stuff for trackday bbq thing. Had to get the vegetarians some food and soy burgers at Aldi were the cheapest at about 75c a piece.

Saw wienermobile again.

Neighbor kids came over to play, so now got 3 kids tearing up the yard on my go kart. Really need to make it 2wd. Every kid that gets on it thinks the burn out is the best part. Leaves lots of mud streaks and torn up grass... oh well, they're having fun.

A couple of weeks ago, a golfing buddy made the comment that his daughter was bringing the little angles over.

When I saw him the next day, I asked how the visit with the grans went.

His comment was, thank God the little b*stards left with their mother.

Another kid showed up. Dunno where they're coming from. I only knew of the one little girl across the street. Didn't think there was 3 kids in shouting distance from me.

And the neighbor kid crashed hard into my well and broke a front steering knuckle. Told them several times not to drive there and they stopped for a few laps. But the temptation of driving through the narrow gap in the landscaping, and over some hostas must've been too great.

No more go kart for the neighbor kids.

Now I gotta dig around in my scrap pile to find some stuff to weld up a new one. At least the well head didn't break off.

Got 4 acres to ride around, and they choose to ride right next to the house. Killin me smalls.

Sittin out back at moms with a smoke and a glass of red. Had the herfinator packed with 5 nice maduros for the trip. Well, I can picture it sittin on the tool chest in the garage. Right where I left it. Damn. (Every time I type damn, I think of Danm. Wassup Danm)
Anyhoos, finally had the occasion to dip into the emergency Villiger Exports that’s been sittin in my glove compartment for the last 3 years. Well... like smoking chit on a chingle. Actually, I would rather smoke chit on a chingle. Please shed a tear for me fellas (or flip me the bird, whatever your first inclination)
From now on, the jeepster will be sticked with Avanti anisettes and Parodi Kings.
Was gonna correct that “sticked” to “stocked”, but it works better as is.

Gonna smoke the rest of the pack anyway cuz they smoke quick, unless I can find chit on a chingle. And trust me, I’m putting some effort into the search...

At that point, why smoke?

Maybe start keeping a cob and a small mason jar of pipe tobacco on hand instead. I keep that in the toolbox of my truck and it's been tapped a few times over the years.

USA v. Mexico in Gold Cup final in Chicago @ Soldier Field. 85% of the crowd pro-Mexican. That fact and seeing Tim Ream as a starting Defender tells us we are lacking two walls.

It got chilly out. Had to put on a jacket.

I hope we get this weather for the weekend. I'm bringing the camper to the track but I don't wanna pay for electric to run the AC unless I absolutely have to.

Finally get home after a long visit over at mom's. Cursed once because I left my herfinator in the garage at home, and was forced to puff on garbage. So looking forward to firing up a sweet maduro after a long day of smoking what I can only wish was chit on a chingle. Finally some salvation! Then I fish around for my idouchePhone to catch up on everything that's happened here in my absence. And whaddya know? Nowhere to be found! Left it at mom's. Cursed again!!!

The curse of danmdevries! I offered earlier to take away some of the bad luck he has been experiencing out of the kindness of my life-beaten blackened heart. Taking one for the team so that things might start working out for him. And look what happened...

You fucquers!!!

Now the picture is starting to come in clearly. At first, you all seemed like a diverse community of cigar enthusiasts. Some more abusive than others. Some seemingly in a constant state of conflict with others. And then danmdevries as cool as a cucumber just trying to get through life and enjoy a fucquing weekend without being soaked at camp. I'm starting to understand that this all is an elaborate scheme. I now see through your bullchit. I know I've got the intellect of an infant, but I wasn't born yesterday! It's as clear as Celtic's vacant stare. I now finally realize that you're all a tightly knit stogie hit squad!

Damned everys one!!! danmdevries won. I lost............... For now...
