Got the kids house emptied out today. Yep, the piano too. Damn I hate those things. Now I know why they're inherited. Nobody wants to move them. LOL.

Ashed a cigar and drank a good stout. Chicken cooking for the week. Gonna be a good night.

Built and stained a potting bench for the woman this weekend using mostly scrap lumber. Total project cost was pretty low but sanding the wood into shape was a bit of a pain.

I am EMBARRASSED to call myself a Philadelphia Eagles fan this morning.
Last night's game, against the hated rival Dallas Cowboys was absolutely ATROCIOUS ! ! !
With everything that was "on the line", the Eagles put up one of THE MOST pathetic efforts, (and I use the word
"effort" loosely), that I have seen in YEARS !
I am NOT in a very good mood right now. ram27bat

Agree with you jes 100%, glad I didn't waste my time watching the game. Now we will listen to their pathetic excuses.

Pretty windy this morning. And it's blowing the wrong way, pushing the leaves into my yard and against the hill rather than into neighbor's yard and the swamp. Oh well, don't plan on doing any cleanup today.

Work kicked my ass again last night. 16,000 steps on the fit bit thingy.

Got one more to go, then a week off. Think I'm going to keep it off. At least the first few days. Been there 17 days already this month. Doesn't sound like much but all 12-13 hour shifts. Roof should be just about funded after Friday payday. Managed to come up with an extra $6k in two months just killing myself working. Wish I could maintain this schedule longer, I'd be debt free.

Cigar and a glass of bourbon out in the garage. La Casita Criolla lancero about 3-4 years old is fantastic.

Sounds good to me, I'll try the pairing with a different vitola as soon as I get feeling better enough to get off the wagon. Forget the 12-13 hours of work beforehand tho.

That 16000 steps is a good 7 mile 2+ hour hike in the mountain preserve for me. Don't think I would like it much as a work routine though.

Don't just sit there on your azz. Get out there and herd the chickens or something.

Typical nights are about 8k. I have to make a conscious effort to hit 10. But some nights are literally running up and down the stairs and across the hospital responding to rapid response calls and code blues. I'll hit 20k on a really bad night.
