Sad day. While cleaning out the camper I knocked my last mason jar of Dunhill Nightcap off the shelf and it shattered.

Anyone know of a decent clone blend?

Somebody needs to do an intervention with Victor before this gets worse. Next he'll be singing "I'd trade all my tomorrows for one single yesterday". Whistle

Tarped n roped the camper. All sealed up for the winter.

Someday I'll build a barn and winterizing will be nothing more than setting some mouse traps and setting the thermostat to 40.

Put a bunch of rat poison and snap traps out in the shed too.

Took the hoses off the house and drained the lines. Just a few more things to do for winter

Of course we won't. First we'll teach her that cigars that have sat in a humidor that long are likely gone stale.. probably only worth a fraction of what you paid for them. Given that they only cost you $0.50 each, we'll gladly take them all off her hands for $0.10 each.

You and my shooting buddy would get along well. He has the same plan for those old beat up guns I have. LOL

Prolly aren't worth anything. They say a gun loses 5% of it's value every time a bullet is shot though it. Heck, at this point most places would prolly charge her to take them off her hands. Your shooting buddy is doing her a favor hauling that scrap metal away.

Dude, you have to check out the "chicken "rings". They're chicken "strips" shaped like an onion ring. My kids got them once.

They were eating them and I asked them "So what part of the chicken is round like that?"
"We don't know, what?"
"THE SPHINCTER!"

All of them spit them out, I was laughing my ass off, my wife was pissed, and the couple at the next table that had an order were now looking at them funny. One of the best fast food moments of my life. LOL.

Totally worth the price of admission.

Honestly though, White Castle is a 3AM on the way back to the boat stop. Then a sack of burgers and fries with a chocolate shake is the bomb. In broad daylight sober? They're good, but not 3am good. BigGrin

I don't think I've had anything but their breakfast sober.

And even that's questionable.

I gotta be honest...
I like fries, they're tasty and all.... and I always order them when I get a burger wherever I get one...

But I've never craved fries by themselves... and I've never really noticed or cared about fries between different places. They're all essentially "potato" deep fried. It's edible... it will fill me up... but I'm not gonna go all fat-kid excited over them.

I remember having a similar argument with a friend over soda back in college... It's all roughly the same thing... sugar and carbonation. I couldn't care less if it was coke, pepsi, dr pepper, 7-up.... the only factor that makes me care at this time in my life is that it have caffeine and that it also be diet (because I am a fat kid).

imust be fantastic to have such naively pedestrian taste buds...

In n out and chik fil a both have really good fries when cooked "well done"... I don't care for either when cooked regular...

F the IRS. Just got a letter claiming I owe another $13,000 for 2016. Last time I went through this $hit I spent 40 hours recreating all business transactions for a year and it turned out they actually owed me a small refund- and I collected! Called my accountant and he is going to handle this one for me Monday. Now, today sucks. ram27bat

If all the way cooked? Yes. But their burgers suck. :(

I will say Wendy's has come a long way with their burgers and the fries. Coming on strong I'd say.

I prefer my homemade burgers using Stater Bros Butchers Angus Burger patties 1/3 - 1/2 lb of juicy tasty beef grilled to medium, with fresh romaine lettuce, tomato, red onion, avocado, bacon, swiss cheese, mustard, mayo, ketchup...and air fried crinkle cut potatoes...

My sister-in-law's family owned a massive farm (thousands of acres) in South Dakota.
They leased out a huge parcel to McDonald's to raise their cattle.
They were given sacks of food and were told to feed the cattle NOTHING ELSE but the McD's feed, and only in the EXACT amounts stated.
Her brothers said that they were not told what was in the feed, but the cows got SO BIG SO FAST that NOBODY in the family will EVER eat at Mickey D's again.

Now me, on the other hand . . . I just gotta have a BIG MAC every once in a while. ThumpUp

Took a half day today, plus tomorrow and Monday. I’ve got about 15 days to use by year end. Cleared my schedule and intended to not even glance at email. Took 2 hours for the first call to come in. I took it, and the next one, because the end result is going to take about 80 hours of work off my back. Now trying to disconnect and relax for a few. Mrs Monkey and I were to head to the beach, but the weather is supposed to be bad, so we’re just relaxing in the ‘ham and going out for a couple of nice meals.

A brother to be named later lit up my damn mailbox on what I thought was an innocent trade. 36 exceptional cigars later, I’m reeling from the damages.

Now sitting on the deck, watching deer wander by with a smoke and some Aberlour.

All of the executives were at an offsite meeting yesterday. Today, a bunch of comings and goings into the VPs office. Many doors closed rather loudly. Thankfully, all jobs will remain in place on the day of the sale. Whew.

When was the day of the sale? October 1. As in 23 days ago.

.... OH.... Ohhhhhhhhhh.

You should get a job in corrections. You have to deal with violent people, crazy people, drunk people, ass holes, thiefs, rapists, gang bangers, stinky homeless people... and the public who has NO FKN CLUE what you have to deal with.

But you'd have job security.

Havin' lots of trouble with wildlife here. Deer are bold, skunks are digging, Woodchucks are damaging gardens. Hardly see a rabbit a week now and the Bear(s) have been no trouble.

Loved the old MiCD fries but they have gone to crap. I think I'll have a few hash brown patties for breakfast tomorrow morning.

Been trying to be indispensable. Now I'll find out if I'll be dispensed.
Have to have faith, pray and keep Thy Will Be Done in the forefront of my concussed brain.
I don't expect a path without rocks. Hope I don't get thrown off the cliff.

Too scrawny and old now to deal with gangsters.

You need a stress free job. So do I.

I'm thinking maybe armed security guard... daytime only... I don't like night shift at all.

My LT told me she is probably going to shift me to the other end of the week and keep me on day shift at shift change... in an effort to keep me longer. LOL

Seriously, though... I may stay a bit more... depends on how things go, and I need to shed the admin Sgt position, which I will in January.
