Couple weeks late start on my peppers, planned to get them started around the first of the month.

Got chocolate bhutlah, carolina reaper, and trinidad scorpions.

The instructions say they take a month to sprout.

I might be turning around and selling it.

Someone local that I've bought guns from before (and used to own my local cigar shpo) has an AR with a dedicated 22 upper for a good price. He has someone lined up to buy when he heads a few hours south but isn't sure their schedules will mesh to meet up. I told him if it comes back home, I'll take it. If I buy that, the M&P goes up for sale.

It's pretty cheap feeling in the hand, doesn't feel like a real rifle. It's too late to take it out back, but I bought another thousand rounds of 22 while I was there. Probably take it out back tomorrow if weather's decent.

Wish I had my can, I'd be able to shoot it any time of day/night. Suppressor's at the gun shpo and ATF cashed my tax stamp check, so everything's in place. Just waiting on the OK on my form 4. NFA timelines threads on a few sites I frequent, some people are getting approvals under 50 days. Others are 300 days tho... Just gotta wait. Brick wall

My check was cashed a couple weeks before yours and my can is at the FFL. I get to use it on their range however. I also bought another cz75 tactical for the threaded barrel and a 3lug mount for the scorpion. I now need to send my kadet conversion kit in for threading.... then I'll be happy for awhile.

Which can did you buy?

Hey Dan...

Those cans ? As you mentioned...

Only surpress...

You can still hear it...with regular ammo...and CCI STINGERS IT PRACTICALLY DOES NOTHING AT ALL TO THEIR NOISE LEVEL...

Now if you buy "low load" or micro loads...then it is very quiet.

I still love the scene from "Casino"? When Frank culatto - the guy in the overcoat and big hat...has a surpressed
HIGH STANDARD? or Ruger ? .22 pistol...
Shoots "the fat Mormon" / comedian (Alan king/ Andy stone)
In that NJ steakhouse parkinglot...

So true to life...that scene is EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU "CROSS PATHS WITH A GATEKEEPER GREMLIN" sent by Arlen...you never see or hear it coming...

So I went to Costco.... Place is usually pretty empty on weekday mornings... Not this morning...

Lots and lots and lots of people buying their 2 pack allotment of toilet paper and their 2 pack allotment of that stuff that comes out of your kitchen and bathroom faucets for practically free...

Meat, jerky, beans, rice, oil, spices - no limit on these and the shelves overfloweth...

I've got a bad feeling that in a month or so a lot of people are gonna end up knocking on my door offering to trade a roll of tp and a bottle of water for a bean and 3 grains of rice...

Wife makes an excellent pizza from scratch about every two weeks.

Usually use leftover smoked meats on top. It's damn good.

Neighbor's getting his septic tank pumped so I went over there and asked the pumper if he could do mine. He said I had to call into the office, so I did. Office guy said he wants to get me a price on field replacement since I've been having them pump twice a year for 10 years now.

So now I've got that scheduled. He says his average is 3500-5k for field replacements. I told him I had a guy out many years ago who quoted 30k which is why I've been pumping instead. He said there's no way they'd be anywhere near that.

Here's to hoping. It would be nice to have a passable yard again instead of pure muck.

Supersonic rounds will still have a crack as they break the sound barrier.

Keep em subsonic and they're quiet as can be. You hear a click from the action, and a ping when it hits the plate.

I have a few thousand rounds of subsonic CCI for the rifle, and Federal bulk pack don't go supersonic in a pistol length barrel.

The supersonic crack is the majority of the noise associated with .22lr. I have some Aguila colibri/super colibri rounds that are stupid quiet out of my guns without a can. But they're low power super light projectiles. They work on squirrels, but not raccoons. With a suppressor I can shoot much heavier bullets at the same speeds as the colibris and stay silent but have better power to take larger critters.

It's only a matter of time. A staff member in our school district is being tested. They closed schools today to deep clean, through the weekend. Supposedly, they are scheduled to go back on Monday.

I don't get the Costco love people have.

Everything can be had at the same price, or less, elsewhere.

Bulk food supply, GFS is the chit. Bonus cause nobody's ever there, it's in and out no lines no waits.

Took wife's car in for emissions testing today.

Got home with the approval number and renewed registrations on all the cars, trailers, and motorcycles. $900 something.

Shouldn't have renewed the motorcycle again, I want to sell it. I never ride anymore but I keep renewing my vanity plate. Nurse plate with number 1. I keep renewing it because it's cool, but the bike sits in my shed. I would like to get a new bike and keep the plate which is why I keep paying for it.

Have a vanity plate on the truck too. Waste of money but I've had that plate for 15 years.

You gotta be strategic about it...

Generally, Kirkland brand products are a quality that cannot be matched at the offered price... Paper towels, toilet paper, a lot of organic products, their gasoline, etc...

Things like cheese can be had cheaper elsewhere, but not Tillamook cheese...

Meat can be found cheaper elsewhere, but not organic prime...

We have recently switched over to Amazon prime subscription for non perishables, cosmetics, toiletries, things like that... They offer up to 15% off when you subscribe to multiple items and that definitely makes them cheaper than Costco...

Sam's and Costco have the cheaper meats around me. Albertson's and Stater Bros are crazy expensive and the meat isn't even as good. Sam's and Costco have choice and prime meats for very good prices, IMO.

Best deal on meats here is Meijer's a big box store. Every morning, leftovers get marked down at like 50%. Go early and you can get whole chickens for $0.50/lb, pork shoulder for $0.80/lb, and beefs under $1/lb.

don't see the purpose for a two week shutdown...kids are not gonna stay home and will prolly run around to the parks and the stores/malls and the movie houses...if you decide to shut it down, it should be for the duration of community spread...when the numbers of newly infected drop to near zero, then turn peeps loose...

oh wait, we need to start testing in order to get an accurate read on the rate of infection...never mind... d'oh!

The big issues with school shut downs are

A) kids don't seem to be getting or spreading it

And

B) 60-something percent of our health care workers have kids in school... So now They need day care or time off of work...

I think it's knee jerk... If it was an influenza strain this might be a great call...

It is not...

Stats right now show those under 39 years of age dying at a .2% rate... Those under 9 years of age dying at a 0% rate...

Work has gone full retard (not to disparage anybody. In it for the movie reference) on virus prevention.

We've gotten directive to cancel any nonessential work and contractors. So I ask if they want to cancel the industrial hygiene audit to check if containers are being labeled properly. Nope, because that's a safety issue

Supposed to stagger my crews' lunches so no more than two people eating together. So I ask about the morning job briefing where we go over everything going on with the entire crew all in the control room. Nope! Another safety issue

WTF!?!?!? Either you're in or you're out. Half one way and half the other does absolutely nothing

Yeah, people suck.

Social Distancing is the thing. Work from home is being considered.

The way I figure it, one way or another, I’m likely to die at my desk. I’m volunteering to work in the blast zone.

Won’t be enough money for both my wife and I to retire anyway.

Tomorrow I’m going to dirty my hands, pick my nose all day, then off to Walmart to lick their door handles.

Let’s wrap this fuqqer up!

Me and a friend went up to Lancaster Pa. one year (Amish Country) and split half a cow. I had beef for weeks! It was worth the money when you consider what all the cuts would have cost at a supermarket. Just have to make sure you have the room. They will even let you pick out the cow you want. Can do it with a pig too. Butchered perfectly and they split it up nice and even for the two of us so we didn't have to go through it all and decide who got what.

First, you’re going to Prohibition Spirits and Cigar Lounge that you told me about, Having your favorite cigar and whiskey, then you’re going to the strip club, and you’re gonna lick every snizz in that place, and they’re gonna ride you til you drop.
