any reason why I shouldn't trust ordering sushi/sashimi for delivery tonight?

that's generally the bar for sushi/sashimi...when you have ask yourself whether to or not...

not sure how many restaurant workers or delivery guys are positive...but experts say the virus is not transmissible by food...

food containers and delivery vehicles ...possible

They'd leave it at the door, I'd transfer all edible components to our plates and stuff, would handle cartons and stooopid styrofoam containers while wearing vinyl gloves, leave all peripheral items (soy sauce packets, chop sticks) in the bag and roll that up and put in the trash.

Have avoided sushi/sashimi so far cuz just felt uneasy about the raw factor...

is this overly cautious? Would love some for dinner.

Food workers are likely touching and breathing on your cooked food just as often as your raw food...

Only reason I'd shy away from sushi/sashimi right now would have to do with whether I'd trust that they're still moving the same quantity of fish as before... Don't know how long they've been holding on to the current filet. :)

I wouldn't... We've only eaten food prepared in house for several weeks and have all of our groceries delivered...

that has also been a concern...but that may be countered by them having likely cut back on the volume they've been ordering the last few weeks.
This really does require a bit more thought than a pizza in my mind.

most fish sold at market nowadays has been flash frozen, so freshness shouldn't be an issue...

We've been trying to be consistent about getting carryout every Fri, Sat and Sun... just to try to keep the local restaurants in some income....

Early trials look good for a corona virus cure for the existing drug Remdesivir. A bigger trial is currently underway for this antiviral medication.

Story out of UK

Doctors have made the foul discovery that farting could spread the Covid-19 disease – unless infected people wear pants which can protect this from happening

I read a paper that said the virus was still shedding in feces 14 days after symptoms have subsided is recovering patients. So that could actually be a viable concern.
