Had a partial smoked turkey carcass so I made a stock...

Turned the stock into a gravy like substance...

Butter fried some potato chunks...

Added the potatoes and some peas and pieces of Turkey to the gravy...

Made a pie crust...

Baked the gravy n stuff into the pie crust...

Ate it...

We'll see. I'm still working the theory that cigar smoke and hot sauce will kill this bug. So far, results are more promising than aquarium chemicals.

My theory: the stronger the alcohol the better chance of killing the virus, so just before bed, I take one ounce of knob Creek Cask strength. 120 proof Seems to do the trick.

It's the quality of the alcohol.
They didn't call it Guinness virus.

A suspected Covid-19 male patient is lying in bed in the hospital, wearing an oxygen mask over his mouth and nose. A young student female nurse appears and gives him a partial sponge bath.
"Nurse,"' he mumbles from behind the mask, "are my testicles black?"
Embarrassed, the young nurse replies, "I don't know, Sir. I'm only here to wash your upper body and feet."
He struggles to ask again, "Nurse, please check for me. Are my testicles black?"
Concerned that he might elevate his blood pressure and heart rate from worrying about his testicles, she overcomes her embarrassment and
pulls back the covers.
She raises his gown, holds his manhood in one hand and his testicles gently in the other.
She looks very closely and says, "There's nothing wrong with them, Sir. They look fine."
The man slowly pulls off his oxygen mask, smiles at her, and says very slowly,
"Thank you very much. That was wonderful. Now listen very,
very, closely:
"Are - my - test - results - back?"

LOL

Not intentionally. I gave you my thoughts the other day when you said you were going back. I didn't want you thinking I was sweet on you our anything. Not talking

But we have an almost exact parallel universe to your situation going down here . Exact. Not a good place to be. Be careful bud.

It's all good Gunner, thus the laughing smiley. Danm's got it much worse in a hospital.

It's all about perspective isn't it... I dunno what it's doing outside. Seems nice and chilly the way I like it. Perfect for cracking the window and enjoying a smoke and coffee. But, my day started not because I wanted it too. My day started because my cat was bored. He plants himself on my chest and claws the blankets off me until he can see my face and then he runs his paw down my face..... I've woken up before with my lower lip pulled down, his paw still on said lip, and me staring into eyes that said in no uncertain terms 'YOU WILL AMUSE ME."

Worst part is he walked by me one day as I was getting into my car. He was a very young stray and he let me just scoop him up and bring him home... So, I did this to myself. This does NOT please me. Not at all. Pray to whatever God's you believe in for one of my children today..... someone MUST pay.

We used to have one that would walk onto your chest and then, as if all the strength disappeared from his legs, do a full on belly flop. Adorable when he was a wee kitten. Not so much once he reached the old fatazz stage of life

Walked by the brush pile yesterday and heard the very distinctive cry of newborn varmint...

Friggin cat - no idea where it came from - decided to have kittens in the middle of the pile...

They were only a few hours old and the mom wasn't too happy with me being there, so I let her be...

Hopefully within the next week she moves them... Otherwise they're likely gonna be turbo snacks...

Well, gotta roll to the store real quick. I wish there were a way to stockpile salad greens. Then off to the DNA pool that is my work place. 300 of my "dearest" co-workers, most of home have questionable hygiene in the best of times. No they think hand sanitizer makes them immortal. Brick wall

Luckily I'm in the R&D lab, 2nd shift so I'm the lone ranger up there. Which works for me as I'm anti-social anyway. By 1630 I'm solo and wipe everything down with chlorox wipes, wet and let it air dry. Soak time matters.

We've had 6 people sent home to self quarantine. None have test results back yet. If we weren't so critical to keeping the economy afloat I'd bail. But "as an "essential worker", we have an even stronger obligation to continue to show up for our shifts!"

They call you "essential" as "sacrificial" is just too honest.

I really feel for Dan and MACS. Any of the health care, .mil, or LEO guys for that matter. Be safe Gentlemen, and Ladies.

Thanks for carrying on, I have two nurses, daughter in law and soon to be grand daughter by marriage and one son is a maintenance mechanic at a Kimberly Clark plant making TP and wipes.

This is stating to get serious, they are no longer making or allowing anyone to make coffee at work since we use the same pot. I have only had my one cup on the way to work. Did not get my once I get to work cups... Has not been a good day.

They've asked me to poll my guys on whether they'd be willing to be sequestered in the plant should it become necessary. Length of time undetermined. Financial compensation undetermined. Surprisingly I got a lot of positive responses. Unsurprisingly they are conditional on what those undetermined determinations turn out to be
