And the seattle CHOP? meh. An occupy style protest. Not nearly as bad as your OANN tells you, I have friends living just a couple blocks away.

Neither is a "terrorist" attack. You sound scared.

Wasn’t politics. History. And maybe a smear of dystopian future.

Had to run up to Hammond to pick up some beer. Deer was gone when I got home. Wife said a guy came n dragged/stuffed it into his trunk n left.

I dont think it ever got tagged. The sheriff's people put a flag in a cone on the side of the road for public works people to collect the carcass (theres roadkill deer here at least once a year, im familiar with the process) and when they do, they take the flag and cone too.

Flag n cone still there.

More refrigerator drama. The model they sold us wasn't in stock so they are delivering our second choice and if we like it, we keep it and get $700 refunded b/c it was much less expensive. Otherwise, they will order us a new one. Hopefully my wife will think $700 is worth the compromise. Yesterday she didn't.d'oh!

Was it $350 cheaper? Cuz that's the only way I'm accepting choice #2 and $700... lots of guys can get me choice #1 right now...

Yeah... and you paid for a refrigerator they "don't have"?

Sounds like a CBid backorder tactic.

$700 is a good amount of money but for me, I’d rather have a happy wife so I can enjoy a happy life. Iffin’ you agree to the less expen$ive one but your wife complains she wishes she had the first choice model once a month (...minimum...), is it worth the extra grief?

Obviously only a question you can answer so good luck with whatever you decide. Herfing

After an hour I gave up on the idea.

Should've asked for a tag when they came and shot it.

Listed my camper for sale this morning for $2500. I looked all over the internet at same and similar campers to settle on a quick sale price. Cheapest similar trailer i found in similar condition was $3500. Most 5-8k but in better shape.

Got 17 messages since this morning.

Most just asking if its still for sale. I reply yes, and hear no more.

Maybe 5 more asking location. Its in the ad.

One asked if I'd consider trades. I said i might consider trading for a golf cart. He then offered a Dodge Intrepid.

Another asked if I'd trade for a gun. Maybe... I'm into guns, the right thing might do it for me. He offered a Glock 22. I said sure, plus $2200. He said no, just the gun.

A lady asked if it could be towed by her Toyota Sienna. I said not very far.

Had an offer for $1k, $800, and $500.

Another one asked if I'd do a payment plan.

Another asked if it had a warranty.

I thought this would be quick and easy.

ThumpUp

My Dad used to always say, “Buy the best you can afford.” Not that it’s been my sole driving force when I buy stuff but it certainly has been in the forefront.

My dad said... "If you can't afford what you like, learn to like what you can afford".

True words of wisdom. Better than, "F--- it, kid... it's just money... you'll make more".

I absolutely hate trying to sell vehicles or anything like that, always wasting time answering questions then get ghosted. It’s really reminds me of trying to date these days. I’m gonna find and old rich hag, I can’t take the younger women, most are so friggin annoying.

No more hits on the camper since the initial rush this morning.

Dropped the price on my motorcycle to $1500. Don't think I'm gonna go much lower than that. Maybe hang on till springtime. Same with camper. Selling in the wrong season.

Mixed some onions and bell peppers into a pound and a half of ground beef and made hamburgers. Turned out fantastic.

My dad dropped off a grill mount he bought for his camper. Bolts onto the rear bumper and rotates out with a grill on there.

Problem is, he's 6'6" and the grill sits way too low. Also the bumper has a downward angle, measured at 5 degrees so once it's extended, it's angled to the side and too low to comfortably use.

I measured the thickness of all the tabs and mounts and stuff, everything was around 0.180 so I bought 0.180 square tubing to extend and bend the mount. Got it home and cut the mount tube to find it's 0.060 wall... Should've cut first before I bought the tubing. Steel supply store isn't open again till Monday so gotta wait till then to get back at this project.

At least I have good measurements, and the cut's been made so once I get the steel it's pretty straightforward just two square cuts to rise 6", I already cut the slope into the mount. Just gotta weld, grind, and paint.

One of my best friends from h.s. lives in Oceanside and has (repeatedly) invited us to visit and stay with them. Not that we’re gonna be traveling anytime soon but is that near you?

Happy wife, happy life. She's an amazing cook and we entertain regularly. She's strong willed and will select the one that will suit her/our needs best. $700 isn't enough for the grief of an appliance that could last 10-15 years, like the last one did. Whichever she prefers. I am just along for the ride on this one.

The recipe on the bag made almost 3 dozen cookies. 33 of them... likely would have made 36, but um, ya know... there's a reason they make cookie dough ice cream. Anxious

I’ve read cookie dough gives you brain damage, which would make sense seeing the amount of cookie dough ice cream I ate as a kid, or maybe that was paint chips anyway

Is it the butter, sugar, brown sugar, flour, baking soda, salt, eggs, vanilla extract or the chocolate chips that give you the brain damage? Or is it those ingredients combined and not cooked?

I'd tend to dismiss this assertion, but you believed it... so maybe it happened... which is why you believed it.

hehe, I saw two different memes on Facebook a month or so after the virus and mask wearing hit a serious note. One was Van Gogh and the other was Holifield (sp), I LOL'd out loud at those, LMAOOOOOH!

Both were hanging frothier one good ear, or in Van Gogh's case only ear and she curse words under their pic.
