Under protest, but yes. Wife made it clear she would not be trying any of the stuff with mushrooms. Ribs it is.

Wife wanted bones removed. Easy - removed with a simple two finger pull. Then she wanted the fat removed. They're ribs honey.. it's pretty much like eating bacon, just spit out the chewy bits if there is any.

The boy protested along with wife but quickly changed his tune once he had a couple bites and then asked for more. Wife said "eww gross you want to eat more pigs ribs?!" boy says yes. She offered a hotdog instead, he wanted ribs. Win. Wife ate maybe two forkfuls worth. Her plate was loaded with meat that she gave to the dogs. She spit out more than she swallowed. There's a joke there but don't try, that meat doesn't go in her mouth either. Speak to the hand

HOLY CARP!!!! Doesn't like fall off the bone ribs. She's a keeper, more for you.My little, hundred pound dripping wet, wife can damn near eat her weight in ribs.

Made it home around 2200 central time, hadn’t ate since sometime this morning, cooked a couple microwaveable pizzas, paid bills, still gotta shower and shave. Gotta be up by 8am, might get three- four hours of sleep if I’m lucky, normal day.

My days off running loose leaf logs have been gone for about a year now, running Big Road digitical/“electronic” log on tablet. Been trying to get into livestock side so I can run paper again and make a bit more money, but the whole pandemic screwed that up....

Just remember you make money driving everyone else's when they get there. Stay safe and enjoy the ride.

Yep, but in a few weeks I’ll be driving a 2020 Pete 389 with a few extra things I wanted (I paid for...) with 150 miles on it, and if I have any problems it’s the companies problem. I’ve been tossing around buying my own truck. But as someone told me once (when you own a truck yourself, when your don’t driving your working on it or doing maintenance.). I’d prefer it to be someone else’s headache and I make pretty good money imo....

Why not? You should be able to find a 6 pack captain any day of the week down there, no?

6 packs are prohibitively expensive... and due to the covid, charters have raised prices since they're taking fewer people.

Doing an overnight trip tomorrow, though. Fishing all day Friday. Hopefully the fish are biting.

Well... my lard ass made it to the pool this am.
It's getting more crowded now that summer is over and everyone who was swimming at outdoor pools is showing up. Used to be just 1 to 4 or maybe 5 of us. Now there was 6 other people in the pool this morning.

Medium-rare lamb chops for dinner tonight. Served with green beans, asparagus, and a cucumber salad. Delish.

Smoked a few Cigars had a beef stew. and an **** asking my company to pay for equipment we did not buy, since it did not work with our stuffs.

Why are people so unreasonable. Like I work for CBid or something.

I guess it is all in a days work.

At least there is Cigars and Whiskey to make it all better, hope they all don't realize I've been drinking.

Skipped the pool to deal with the dog.
He is apparently covered in some sort of bugs. We're trying to figure out what they are to kill them

Good morning, it's raining here. Surprise project cleaning some mud up when the rain stops.

Went to the dentist yesterday, unfortunately, they found two boat payments. fog Now I need to decide to replace a crown and hope it lasts or pull it out to get an implant, $2k Vs $3k+ horse Not sure the investment will pay out for a 70 year old FOG.

Long night last night. I did nothing but supervise. Normally I get called out to an emergency or act of negligence, laziness, or overreaction. But last night nothing happened so I did about 30 minutes of work in my 12 hour shift. I can't really complain, but it makes for a really long night just sitting there to be immediately available just in case.

5 more to go...

I'm afraid this is entirely what I do now. Puts me in lawyers crosshairs though. It started as a temporary covid measure, but it's pretty much all I do now. Some nights I'm running all 12 hours. Others I'm struggling to stay awake.

We are waiting for delivery of ground flower Lemon OG Kush x Dutch Hawaiian for $25. Nothing else bud-wise is good enough to spend good money on today. Shortages due to increased covid demand. Dispensaries replenish stock on Mondays. Tried some crumble, but it was wasteful, a pain in the ass and not worth the price. Never again. My all-time favorite is RSO- but only once in a while when time and circumstances permit.

How long did the last crown last? I'd go with that over an implant any day, if I could. But, if you are also going to need a root canal, then I would give serious thought to an implant. My two molar implants cost about $5k and the crowns for them will cost about the same. I had no choice in the matter as I was hospitalized for a jaw infection and they had to remove two teeth to make things right. I feel your pain!
