Well..... the new dog is interesting.

Spent his whole life in a wire cage. So he's not real friendly. Not aggressive either. Just scared.
His legs are a mess... seriously bowed front legs, shoulders seem real loosey-goosey... he can walk on them without pain, but hasn't tried navigating the stairs yet. Probably has never taken stairs before.
Feet are a mess from wire cages. Toes splayed...
Skin is f-ed up. Hair had been badly matted before his grooming... so he's got infections on his skin. Antibiotics should resolve that.
He's never been on a leash. Doesn't move at all when leashed. If he's going to be walked we're going to have to figure that out.
He's never been house trained. So we're trying to take him outside every hour or so to get him used to going outside.

He spent last night in a crate. He was quiet all night. But when we tried putting him in a crate today to shower he got yappy. First time he's barked since we got him.

This is going to be a lot of work

He farts like something's dead inside him already.
That was the smelliest car ride I've ever been on. Thought he shat in the back seat for half the trip

Pretty sure my daughters teacher was "spoken to" again this last weekend... she's really turning on the sweet this morning... i actually kinda feel bad for her almost... she's been nothing but incredibly nice this morning and had 2 different moms talk down to her in an angry dismissive way in front of the whole class... kinda the way she's been speaking to her students the last 3 weeks...

Up at 4:15 and coffeed up for a hard 5 miler at 5:30. Pitch dark at this time of year. I'm glad to see that we lose about one hour of daylight during September. When you live where the last 100+ days have been well over 100, a little less sunshine is reason for celebration. Applause

Finished welding up my dad's camper grill mount. Wanted it extended 4" taller and a 5 degree pitch where it mounts to the bumper. Waiting for the paint to dry.

Guy that wants the camper says he's on his way. Gonna be super sketchy, he's got a mid 80s suburban hes gonna tow it with, no weight distribution and no trailer brake control... I'd feel better towing it to him on my truck. Might come to that if he's sitting on bump stops.

It would give me an excuse to tow with the new truck. Ive only towed my 2500lb flatbed trailer.

Well see what happens if/when he shows up.

Rant on: I hate IRS/Treasury. They are attributing $60k Year 2017 income that I did not earn. Ever. Their very own records/transcripts plainly show the mistake they made. But, they refuse to acknowledge it .I already paid my accountant to point this out to them. He did a great job and we thought this crap was all over with. All of a sudden, out of the middle of nowhere, nine months later, I get a letter saying they think I still owe them income tax, substantial under-payment penalties and interest totaling more than $20k. This cannot reach my credit report or my pending home refi will collapse. My accountant says we will probably have to go to federal tax court to resolve this and that even when we win, I will still have to pay for my own accounting and legal fees. Rant off.

Yessir. It was while you were in Mexico I think. 8/26.

Bought a certified used Ram 2500 tradesman. Only options on it are off road package, snow plow prep (never had a plow on tho) locking rear 3.90 and its MINT. I think someone towed their camper to the southwest for the winters. Theres no way it ever saw salt. 52k miles, only 800 some hours on the engine. Bed is spotless, interior spotless and smells new.

One owner, purchased, serviced, and traded in at the same dealership.

Plus got a warranty 3 years or 100k miles.

I love it so far. Except the tip up mirrors. I don't like those. Gotta readjust the mirrors when you move em. Chevy n Ford pull straight out and you're good no adjustment necessary. Been holding about 13.5mpg not bad for a truck that weighs 7300lbs.

Dude came and got the camper.

Surprisingly his suburban took it like a champ. Maybe 3" squat. He said he put 3/4 ton springs and axles in it. So at least that part's reasonable. No trailer brakes though.

I've got the same mirrors on my 1500. I leave them down, even towing... just adjust them where they are.
