That's what swayed me to the Ram over the GM and Fords. Though, any of them in my price range with the options (pretty base 3/4 or 1 ton, crew cab, 4wd, not black, gas, no plow use, and tow mirrors) would have been purchased. I was looking more for a Ram though.

They have much nicer interiors at lower trim levels than the others IMO.

I'm still not sure I'm sold on a fiat/chrysler product, but it's the first vehicle I don't intend to keep till junkyard status. Got warranty to 100k, so we'll see how it does and then can decide if I go Cummins or Duramax or Powerstroke on the next one.

Or maybe I'll concede that my primary use is more suited to a modern half ton that has the capacity of a 3/4 ton of 15 years ago. I think the deciding factor is whether or not I buy a 5th wheel camper.

Found out I can copy games from the Xbox One onto an external hard drive and then use that to move them to the Xbox Series X rather than re download and use up my monthly data limit. Do have to download patches to run on the new console but that might be 100gb instead of the 550 I'm moving on an external HDD in addition to the patches.

New console outperforms my TV abilities, so I'll have to upgrade that soon too.

Good Morning! A warmer 41 degrees today.

My wife, aka, Nurse Gloria, is going to stab me today, twice, once in each arm, it's allergy shot day.

Thirty frickin six degrees outside! And I am about to go sit my ass in a folding chair, at a pond the size of a football field, that was stocked with 500 lbs of trout on Tuesday.

Hope they're hungry now. I'm gonna have to bring a few nips of booze to keep me warm. BRRRRRRRR!

Being a native of Rhode Island... I am not unfamiliar with the concept. However, I left when I was 17 and have stuck to warmer climates ever since.

You can have your 4 seasons. I'll take hot, warm and cool... though I reserve the right to complain about the hot, too.

Woke up too early. Made breakfast - taters n eggs fried up in leftover country rib drippings and topped with an egg.

Gathered the trash and took it all to the curb.

Opened the septic tank and dumped in the rid-x for the month.

Checked the raccoon traps - still empty. Re baited them last night, seems the mice are cleaning up the peanuts I've had to refill them every couple days. But it's been a while since I've had a coon to shoot n skin.

Now I think I'm done for the day.

Morning gents. Nice day here, sunny, no wind, low humidity, and 40s. We start rehabilitating injured stray dogs today. Maximum of 2 at a time. I had a long dicussion with my wife that we have our four dogs. This is to help dogs in need so they can be adopted. I am not sure if that stuck at all.

Great easy Friday. Got plans to get some video game time in tonight, tomorrow guy an eye appointment for the kid and me. We are at a stand still at work with issues with a crane so the day is kind of dragging but at least it's easy.

I need new glasses too - the last pairs never really were right, so new eye doctor and different glass outfit is coming. My previous eye doctor died a couple of years ago and he was not an old guy.

Morning folks
I had 3 x session with eye doc, every time the script was off when he gave me the glasses. I showed up for the 4th screeening with a butterfly bandage to "lift" the eyelid on one side, he asked what happened to me. Turns out I have a "droopy" eyelid (dog bite around the brow when I was 19) that wasn't noticeable enough to the doc.
Finally got a pair of glasses that work.

Back from the pain management doctor today. He did a series of cervical medial branch nerve blocks with a local anesthetic. It will last 4-10 hrs. If successful, it is diagnostic of my neck pain generator. Unfortunately, it was not a success for me. Nothing has changed.

Hope I can try it one more time and if successful, we could go ahead and burn out the nerves generating the pain (radio frequency ablation or RFA).

Otherwise, I will be seeing the neurosurgeon again soon, something I'd like to avoid. Maybe my neurologist will do a cervical EMG/NCV to access the status of any nerve impairment. If there is, I will definitely have to have surgery again.Sad

Rfenst,
Most of us don't consider how thankful of our relative health we should be until we see others worse off. Praying for a true solution to your pain.

I was just stocked with 500 lbs of trout 3 days ago.

You probably could have bagged your limit by throwing in a bunch of handfuls of corn then just blasting the area with your shotgun and bird shot when they came to feed.

My eye doctor was 59. He died last month. We all had an appointment with him the week he died.

I tried others, since he was an hour away and ery expensive. Didn't like any of them. Dunno where I'm gonna go now. Been going to him since I was in kindergarten. His brother has a practice an hour away in the other direction but he's probably retiring soon.

He was my father in laws high school friend, and mother in laws cousin. Wife went to him since childhood too.

Try 4 pound test line and small spinner baits.

6 lb test... 4 lb leader. Used mouse tails, power bait, kastmaster, rooster tails... only a few were caught all morning. Pond is only the size of a football field or so, and you can see when anyone gets a fish.
