I had some vinyl, buying into the analog signal better.. But playing analog media through digital amplifiers kinda makes it pointless. They all have equalizers and signal processors.

Modern digital formats are leaps and bounds above 1990s CD technology.

The nostalgia and album art is whats missing tho.

I dont even have CDs anymore. Might have a handful in one of my many totes of junk cause I'm a hoarder but I got rid of most. Spotify subscription got me covered.

now I'm feeling like getting my KLH Model 20 tuned up. Bought that baby back in 1970. Moved many times with me over th decades.

In general, there has never been better sound, preceded by the familiar hisssss when stylus hit the edge of a vinyl LP, than the sound delivered from vinyl on a turntable. Goosebumps.

also have a Technics (Panasonic made) component system but haven't used that in a long time either...'cept for pumping some radio and cd's out to the patio.

I've got a Pioneer system I have had for 30 years. Bought it from the Navy Exchange in the Philippines when I was stationed in Subic Bay. Still works flawlessly, but the speakers were replaced with Bose 601's in the early 2000's.

My Klipsch promedia computer speakers get all the air time now. 2 small speakers and a subwoofer. Sound quality is amazing for such a small pkg.

Made a trip to the shelter. Saw the volunteer coordinator when I walked in and told her I'd be looking around for a pup to take with me. Never even got outside... saw a young pup, probably 8 months old, grey and white pitbull mixed with something... looks like a pit, though. He was dropped off this weekend and didn't even have a kennel card yet.

You might want to check out whether a pit bull mix is insurable under you homeowner's insurance. Most preclude it.

You need a Vinyl Advisor or Vynancial Planner.

They recommend a vinyl plan, customized to your (or your son’s) taste. They take a small, say 1 or 2% cut of your wax and leave it to them.

Although you’ve struck me as a smart feller..... this 23 to 1 reverse split has me...... reassessing.

Probably have to visit with him a few more times before Saturday so he gets used to me. I'm gonna bring treats.

A high energy, pit bull cross, that needs a lot of training.

Finally..... a foolproof plan.

The wife chuckled and said “At least that will keep you occupied.”

Drank the bottle of beer SOB "tipped" me with when he bought a Darklord from me.

BurnEM brewing barrel aged something stout. Bottle's in the trashcan, but the beer was fantastic and I'm feeling good.

nothing could possibly go wrong.

But as much as puppies suck, they're amazing.

Puppy days are gonna be coming up on me in a few years, both mine are 10 years old. Not really showing age yet, they're still in that sweet spot of dog life. But it's coming. I had one dog make it to 15, the others were all around 12.

Four out of five of our last dogs came off of the track with the puppy stage behind them. One still had the chew in her. This was about three months after I caved and we got a new bedroom set.

It’s not so new anymore.

This guy is around 8 months, they guess. He's certainly still a puppy, but has a strong enough bladder that I may be able to sleep through the night. We'll see...

Already ordered a kennel with a bed, cover, and 2 bowls. Still need collar, tags, chew toys, sqeaky toys and a couple of leashes. One for walking, one for tethering to me until he's sufficiently house-broken. Good thing I have been furiously reading training books and watching the videos.

We're about to find out if I learned anything... and if I can put what I learned into practice. Pray

My female puppy chewed a hole through the drywall in our laundry room... she sleeps outside now....

I forget the details myself. I want to say maple syrup and cinnamon are involved, but would have to hunt down one of the tags. Glad you enjoyed it

Get rich or die trying. Handwritten on the label as is normal for their and other local breweries barrel aged series.

I dug through the trash to get it. Just had to know.

I think the guy was referring to an Old Mother Hubbard limerick... not trying to insult your wife. You being intoxicated and all... if she bends over... she might get... you know.

Old mother Hubbard went to the cupboard
To fetch her poor rover a bone
When she bent over rover took over
She found out he had a bone of his own

Actually got sleep last night, feel great today. Way better then yesterday was. Ended up napping when I got off work yesterday and went to sleep early, and that was after almost 2 pots of coffee. Today I get to wait for concrete to dry haha. They are building a 30ft blast wall, they have to pour it and I can't really do anything till they are out of the way. Communication is important, but management doesn't get that.

That is the Andrew Dice Clay version.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2mHidubHeHY

This is the original:

Old Mother Hubbard
Went to the cupboard,
To give the poor dog a bone:
When she came there,
The cupboard was bare,
And so the poor dog had none.

Good Morning!

Cold as $hit overnight (low 40s). Today's high is only 55F and breezy. A nice day for most others, but not those here in Orlando.

Hey MACS, enjoy the pup. My bully was the best dog I ever had and the easiest to train. Early on I realized she always wanted to please, always. Her training always involved how to get her to understand what we wanted.
