I know you're kidding but the image really is photo shopped... it's a composite of several images taken over time and the color is added to reflect what scientists believe it may look like... it's cool, but it really is fake...

Party pooper.

Fake implies that it doesn't exist. They are real images from various slices of electromagnetic spectrum enhanced with color to create a visual representation for humans to see.

Yucky cold and wet day here. Gotta work anyway so I really don't care. The rain will help the garden and pretty flowers grow and wash out some of the pollen in the air. My allergies salute you, rain.

Interesting series on PBS called the brain.

https://www.pbs.org/show/brain-david-eagleman/

One episode goes into how our brain pulls in stimulus from it's sensors and stitches it together to create our "reality". The entire series is worth binge watching. I think it's on Prime along with PBS streaming.

I've not had the Glendronach, but you already know the Aberlour 16 is my favorite. Pretty much everyone I have introduced to it has liked it.

Damn bee stung me on my palm today. Just got home from walking the dog and was taking my shoes off in the back yard. Felt a sting on my hand and looked at it... friggin' bee was there, stinger already in my skin.

Killed it, then removed the stinger with tweezers. Hurt like a mofo for a couple minutes but went away pretty quick after stinger was out.
