Jeebs, most here will generally recommend 65% RH and let anything you buy online sit for at least several weeks after arrival before smoking it. I write the month and year on the cello and wait until it's two months later on paper before I smoke it. Usually.

Good catch on the numbas.

81062 - EP Carrillo Short Run 2023

Last one of a fiver. One was pretty good but the others were just ok. The blackest ash I can remember on any cigar. Not worth the coin IMO.

81063 - Last Call Maduro rothschild, which was pretty good. I think they call it a "coticas" or something dumb - it's 4" x 52. I liked it better than the romusto, which isn't bad.

Last Call "Cortica": short romusto...

81064 -- Camacho Corojo 07/05, from 2/2012...they were making different and unique sized Corojos then, Diploma, 07/05, 08/22, and 11/18...tapered from foot to first third, then straight to the head...kinda like a skinny drumstick.... still kicking after all these years

81068: RP Vintage 20th Anniversary romusto 5 x 52. Connie Broadleaf wrapped around Brazilian and Nic ligero. My first try on this blend and I hope the rest are better than the first.
81069: LPH BP Morado Robusto 5 x 52. I really enjoy this blend across all vitolas I’ve sampled.

81071 Rocky Patel Edge I believe corojo from darklord trade. Spose it could be habano. Started off great. Lots of baking spice and cinnamon cedar on retro. I was worried i was going to thoroughly enjoy another RP.

After first ash drop it started burning crooked half the ash was rock hard the other half loose and flakey. Tried to work it out with a couple touchups but it continued to only burn one side and went out completely twice. The flavors left completely and I tossed it. The first inch was pretty damn good tho. If this were new I'd blame overhumidification but it's been in my desktop since 2/5. Feeling the rest of the cigar up to the head half is super soft half is rock hard. Just a bad roll. Mightve been a decent cigar otherwise.

81072 Class 34 Fugazi "compare to Padron 64" uhm... no. Draw extremely tight, flavors are mild with a hint of spray paint.

Kept on and it started to open up 1.5" in. Some baking spices a hint of cedar, and aromatic hydrocarbons on the finish. Extremely thin bodied, minimal smoke. Firm white ash took a tap to drop. Flavors are mild at best. The single ash tap is all I'm willing to put into this one. I already went too far.

This is where searching for the good cheap chit ends up costing more because of how much bad cheap chit is out there. Paid $4.50 ea in a sampler of 8. Hoping they're just inconsistent and the others are decent. The first one I tried was quite lovely, I was looking forward to trying the padron knockoff.

81073 Padron Executive - basically just a 7.5" long x000 natural.

It tastes like every Padron x000 I've had. Draw is perfect, burn is perfect, solid medium profile. Nice rich texture, earthy flavors, lil pepper, lil spice, mineral finish. Paid $7per. Got em in January so they're still young. But I'm not ending my night with a bad cigar.

This cigar has been extremely consistent from the first one I smoked and I've smoked 50 of them or so. Nice spicy, strong cigar.

81099 Last of my Puro Desnudo lanceros from 2019. Wanted something special for finishing my first week at new job. This was the one. Toasty woody but aged to where I like those flavors. Mild bite on retro, perfect construction. I'll miss em.

^Fair enough, Stogie. I bought these last October and after recent discussions I thought I would clear them out of my storage and make way for better stuff.

81104 Buena Vista EL gonna get back on the train of trying these cheapos I bought looking for the ones that punch above their weight.

2nd of 10 I bought thinking it was the old buenavista or at least close to it. First one I said was a total airball. Could see the smoke, smell the smoke, but no flavor or texture. I said I'd revisit after a few weeks and do it as the first cigar of the day. It's not bad at all. Started off super mild. Almost to the point I considered ditching it. But I kept on and the 2nd 3rd it ramped up a bit to a medium. Some more cedar and spice flavors, a bit more texture/mouthfeel. Draw is perfect, I like a draw that's more open than more tight. If my cheeks pucker inward, it's too tight. This one's perfect. Finished out it's one note song, I put it down at the band. I believe I got these for about $3per and its priced right. It's a $3 cigar. Won't be buying again but the first one had me considering binning the rest. I'll smoke em. Decent yard gar, not a garage recliner cigar. Still don't like that they took the branding of a good mid-level smoke and slapped it on this thing. Nothing offensive, but nothing exciting in this one.
