Sorry to upset you nutcases.
Palin was the poison pill in McCain’s presidency. The woman barely knows her ass from a hole in the ground. The prospect of her at the helm is scary.
But I suppose if your understanding of politics is limited to Rush Limbaugh talking points and email forwards, you may have missed this.

Ummmm...no.
What killed McCain was McCain, pure and simple. He is a shining example of why the Republican party is no longer in power. He runs out, calls himself a conservative, then goes back to Washington DC and makes deals with Democrats, and goes out of his way to sh*t all over his party. A prime example of this was his stance on giving amnesty to illegal aliens, which a majority of Americans - Democrats and Republicans - were rabidly against.
Then, he has the audacity to claim he is a "conservative."
Right now, he's running around with the limp-d*cked little weiner Lindsey Graham trying to make the "Mobsters" believe that he's with them 100%. Frankly, I don't think it's going to wash.
Liberal idiots have been out there portraying Palin as trailer trash since day one. Given the base stupidity of most liberals, she's a beacon of intellectual thought by comparison. They know this. That's why they hate her so much: she's a threat. She's not one of those Ivy League clowns who know everything, and have done nothing, a scum-sucking lawyer (sorry pac and rfenst), or a person who has made their fortune on "public service"...meaning taking a paycheck for doing next to nothing.
Unlike liberals, real conservatives don't readily vote for someone who sh*ts all over them on a consistent basis - how else do guys like Carl Levin and Barney Frank get reelected every year? The only other alternative was Idi Amin Jr. (because no one votes for Libertarians thinking that they're actually going to win) who not only talked about things like PAYGO and tax cuts, but promised a change from the past. People assumed that he wasn't lying through his teeth, so they took a chance on him. Surprise!
Make no mistake, if it weren't for Palin, McCain wouldn't have gotten the votes he did.
You know, they made basically the same allegations about Reagan.
Then again, this whole criticism of Palin comes from a condescending jerk who's career is spent at a company that has to get by with public funds, and voted for a guy who is looking to regulate how much he makes.
And the guy who got suckered into voting for a Marxist African dictator-wannabe.
