Took Tank to the dog park close to the base... no other doggo's in there, but he walked around smelling and leaving his calling card everywhere for 30 minutes, then he dropped a deuce for good measure.

Too much downside for you.
Btw, is staffing (patients to nurse ratio) one of the biggest pain points in being a nurse?

Yeah it's definitely one of the biggest. And all the things that come with it.

On a side note. The cat has knocked off all of the low hanging Christmas tree ornaments. I enjoy his curiosity and stuff but acting like a boxer to knock of the tree ornaments? Guess I shouldn't have put ornaments on the lower branches.

Then again, he's going after the"low hanging fruit." So far he hasn't climbed the tree yet.

Happy Saturday folks. Out for the forced march. A perfect day to take the '65 out for a romp around the mountain. I see a cigar on the sunny patio in my future.

Bucky, ya want I should send Tank over there to straighten him out? I'm sure he'd be happy to teach him a lesson.

Well, that is... if he doesn't stand his ground. Then Tank will just walk away. d'oh!

I appreciate the offer. I'd rather keep the cat alive. He probably wouldn't like being in the presence of a strange dog but I suspect, over time, they would get along. I inherited him from a family that had a dog and they got along together so he's not a stranger of other species.

He is pretty entertaining. Part of me thinks he's got a hidden stash of catnip or some other mind altering substances hidden somewhere.

Uneventful day planned. Do some domestic duties like laundry and stuff. Decide what to cook and prolly watch Army vs Navy on TV. They are playing in Foxboro at 3:00 my time.

The rain has washed away 90% of the snow. Persisting rain into the afternoon.

Arsenal at 11:30, Army Navy @ 2:00.

A satisfying day of sports viewing- as long as Arsenal wins.

Coffeed up, dog walked, trip to Walmart for dog food (chicken livers, sweet taters, peas n carrots, brown rice). Yogurt and walnuts for breakfast, got some chicken tenders for the air fryer later.

Got the son a job at the local Walmart. Part time job and they around his school schedule. Another perk is I can just place an order of Walmart things online and get free home delivery.

Gonna do steak tips on the food menu with baked potato and steamed veggies. Then again maybe fries. Fries vs baked taters will require more thought. Maybe tater tots. This big decision shouldn't be taken lightly and will require some deep thought. I like chives on my baked potato but I don't have chives. I'll have to add chives to the Walmart order and get some seeds to grow fresh chives in the windowsill this winter.

I have a recipe of seasoning for Taco John's Potato Olés that is yummy. That might push tater tots with Taco John's over the goal line.
4 tsp Lawry's seasoning salt
2 tsp Paprika
1 tsp Cayenne Pepper
1 tsp Cumin

So many things to ponder...

I'm not on a best behavior here... I just ruined our Mayors Christmas by delivering him two ethics violations of Open Court Claims for failure to pay outstanding debts and explained to him and council he needs to contact these agency's and get these matters cleared up.. one is 19 years old (still outstanding) and he confirmed he was aware of these debts on recorded video, then turned to the clerk to get with the city attorney and see if he could sue me? I'm going to file a FOIA in a couple weeks for the Attorney Fee's charged to the city for services (I already did one previously dating back to 2012 to current Lawyer fee's billed) phone record charges etc. whereas this is a personal matter so if the Mayor would like to file a lawsuit against me, he should hire a private lawyer!!! the citizens of this community should not bear the burden of his negligence to clear up his financial irresponsibility's which also has opened the tax payers eye's to a man who has authority over our tax dollars... It's all going to wash out in the end!!! Beer .

Last night, went to the club for my first cigar in twenty days. No drinks, but smoked two cigars.

The result? Best sleep I’ve had in three weeks. Think

Got accused of child labor law violations last night because I hired two 13-yeayr old neighborhood boys (with their parents' permission) to carry bags of mulch around my yard and help me rake it into place for about 3-4 hours

I pay them $15/hour with a 15 minute mandatory paid break every hour.

If I hired them to baby sit, do you think that's OK? How about to mow my lawn?

Don't think I did anything wrong.

I poured myself a Rusty Nail last night. Slept 9 hours and 33 minutes with one wake up so Tank and I could both go pee.

Fitbit scored it 83.

I should prolly have another... Mellow

WOW... Your Neighbors have entirely to much time on their hands!!! what ever happened to finding odd jobs around the neighborhood to get a few extra bucks spending money??? IE: mowing lawns, raking leafs, helping straighten up garages.. in our area Bucking Bails, feeding the animals, gathering eggs.. Just WOW!!

I could see it if like you were a boy scout troop leader and used the cub scouts to clean up one of your rental properties (without Pay) and parents turn you in then... Happened last year to a local who used to be on the zoning board and is still an acting election judge in our community... he's no longer a troop leader nor on the zoning board for failure to take the FOIA/OMA training required by the State Laws... d'oh!

For the last three months, have been on a one drink per day limit. On average, have been having a drink on Friday, then one on either Saturday or Sunday, but never both. Dry the rest of the week. Drink defined by 1.5 ounces of booze, 5 ounces of wine, or 12 ounces of beer. Rarely drink beer as it bloats be and I get too buzzed too quickly.

Just looked at my discharge orders- I can have one or two drinks a day.

So today, during the Army Navy game, I am going to treat myself to a whole 16 ounce beer (1.3 drinks).

Am sharing that info with you now as a proactive measure of apologizing now, so I don’t have to do it later.

Estimated bedtime tonight- 6:30.

Sounds wrong to me in many ways. Give me a franking break. Who is making the accusations? Maybe Frank and Drafter can make some calls to resolve the situation. I'd do it without pay other than a few bottles of water and friendly shooting the $hit.

Laundry done, food shopping done. Went to a fiends house to help them hang some Christmas lights and shoot the $hit (maybe I should sue them for violating elder labor laws).

Just sitting down to tune into the Army vs Navy game. Army 10, Navy 0 at the half.

As far as I can tell Jasper, the cat, did not frank with the tree today. Never know, I might find some random ornament in the bed or a shoe or sumptin'. All the pets I've had my life are/were pretty smart... or I'm pretty stupid. It's a coin flip that I wouldn't bet on.

Maybe I teach him Morse Code with the spray bottle. Start with SOS = three short squirts, three long squirts, three short squirts.

Then again he might not like that and slash my throat while sleeping.

I'd do it if I could sing Oompa Loompa songs.

The Gene Wilder version or the Johnny Depp version. I haven't seen the most recent version so I don't have an opinion. With that said both of the previous versions are ones to watch if you haven't watched them before
