Buy a barrel, buy a couple bottles, put in barrel and let it sit.
It's going to taste a lot different due to the different wood though. Unless the distillery sells their used barrels (and does small batch barrel aging)) There's a few craft distillerys that do 5 gallon barrels. I've bought a barrel from one in Michigan a few years ago and ran a couple batches of beer through it until the flavor was shot.
