Monkey Shoulder Triple Malt Scotch with a Jaime Garcia Reserva robusto. Halfway through I refreshed with some Pyrat XO rum and one cube of ice.

How's your Mom doing ???

We drove 150 miles today , took my mom and dad . So we could meet up with my daughter , her husband and our two young grand sons, We met at a small central TX town and had Easter dinner . My parents are fading rapidly. . Don't know how many years we have left with them. It was wonderful.

So TW, go see your Mom and Dad as soon and as often as you can,,,

Mom is out of the hospital and sounded good. They asked that I not come this weekend so she could rest. Next weekend or the following I'll go.

We knew the food was meh. Eaten there 3 or 4 times, But it is a neat place and it was a good spot for us all to meet, It was awesome to have 4 generations of my family at the same table...

angels envy

i stopped by the px (post exchange) today for the first time in months. saw angels envy and to my delight it was $39 (plus no sales tax since its the px). this normally sells for at least $50 outside. needless to say, i picked up a bottle. at over $50 including tax, its iffy but at less than $40 including tax, i would say its an above average buy.

You'll remember the moments together and not the food.

I'd give anything to have another meal with my parents and oldest brother...and it doesn't matter where the restaurant is or what kind of food is served...sigh....

Of you want to. I am a little disappointed in one of the beers I sent. Had it for the first time today and like other stuff from that brewery just not this one.

If you want a bottle of Elmer I am willing to trade just let me send first.
