and after emails last night with Conan, I opened an inherited bottle of Old Forester BIB Bourbon. This is a quart bottle, stamp reads Made in Fall 1954, Bottled Spring 1960. Came from my aunt's house, she passed last Fall at 101 years young.

A very special bottle for a very special life:

another toast to Peyton and all the Fowlers and Carys.

Thanks for family.....gonna lose my damn mind.

Future nephew in law ain't wired right. Tell him 5 damn times to shut the goddamn door if you're going potty. I had to shut it. Gets a melatonin (all 5 boys were getting them and we're wired) decides to make himself throw it up, 5 feet from the goddamn toilet (yes door was open).

I want to Woop some ass, but not my kid and his mom let's him do literally whatever he wants. 5 years old and mom and grandma wipe his ass.

The Glenrothes last night.
Liked that it is totally non-peaty. A bit pricey for what might be kinda "entry level", but enjoyed the thickness and drinkability.

Local just got Bib and Tucker, how is it?

I had half a short bottle of Woodford at my niece's wedding and I needed every drop.

All 3 of us liked it and thought it was the best of the night. A bit of vanilla to the nose but smooth and sweet going down. A tad pricey so more of a "treat yourself" purchase.

Tonight a break from the bourbons and enjoying a little homemade black raspberry brandy, pairs rather nicely with a cigar
