Was drinking some Claude Chatelier XO cognac tonight.

Not really whiskey... but pretty damn good.

Fairly smooth, a hint of vanilla at the end. Jury still out but even with the discount I got, not sure I would / should have spent that kind of coin for it.

Started with my last finger of Old Forrester Birthday Bourbon from 2013.Then finished the last finger of some Parker's Heritage............this one does have an uncorked backup thank goodness.Next up...........unsure but I'm thinking a bottle of Breckenridge wifey gave me for Christmas.

First bottle wasn't bad but I hope the second is better.Its a damn single barrel with no barrel info or dates so who knows.I bought it more for the charity aspects..........awe hell I ain't gonna lie I expect some awesome booze for $80+ a bottle.
