Take a moment - for some bad writing:

"She was like my ex-girlfriend Ashley, who'd stolen my car, broken my heart, murdered my father, robbed a bank, and set off a pipe bomb in Central Park—tall."

are you in one of those lovely parts of socal where the people building the homes decided socal doesn't get hot enough to justify putting ac units in?

lol...we have AC...even central heating for the few cold days here in the desert...

...I've gotten used to jumping into the pool and burning calories on hot days...

Got an iPhone?

Activate Siri and tell her "I see a little silhouetto of a man".

You'er welcome.

Home finally. The house was 83 degrees because the missus decided to turn off the AC while she wasn't here for a couple days. Too bad she also left the fridge slightly ajar for those two days. Angry

Yup. Fuckin' yelled at her.

Had to take time off from walking due to surgery, but am back up to 4-5 per day during the week and 6-7 on weekends. I've started running as well, so I am taking 2 or 3 days off because my fat azz is sore afterwards.

Saw a person fill a bowl with gravy, lace in a few croutons and eat it like soup.

Admire your dedication. Do you work full time in addition to all that exercise time?

Stretches really helped me with plantar fasciaitus. Have you tried those? I haven't had a flare up in years.

I do. It's why I'm up so early. I try to get it in before work.

Tom, I've been using some off the shelf inserts to control mine after my last flare up. I pick them up at our local running store. One set for running shoes, another for dress shoes. Immediate relief. Let me know if you want me to figure out the name.

Yep. Aftermarket insoles with even just a little bit of added arch do wonders for me. Doesn't take much to make a huge difference.

Morning all. Back in the saddle again.

For you runners out there, what's a good shoe you would suggest for running/jogging? Since I don't have a good sports store close to me for convenient browsing, looking for some suggestions to look at before before I go to maybe save some time.

I tend towards New Balance as I wear a 4E. That said, I hear great things about both Brooks and Saucony. I believe Brooks also makes widths, but they are difficult to find here and I need to be fitted due to width.
