15 inches here, all but over now.

supposed to warm up, maybe even some sun, this afternoon but below freezing rolling in this evening and will last until Saturday.

anything not cleaned up by nightfall will freeze solid.

Friday was my lucky day.

First . . . I'm standing in line at the WAWA, and the millennial in front of me is on her cellphone chatting with her millennial girlfriend. Loud and annoying.
The cashier says, "That'll be $9.11".
She never looks at the cashier . . . she just hands him a $20 bill, her eyes never leaving the screen on her phone.
He hands her her bag and she starts to walk away. He says. "Don't you want your change ?" She tears her eyes away from the phone JUST long enough to see his outstretched hand holding a $10 bill. She snags it and is on her way, never taking the time to grab the $0.89 out of the change dispenser. I looked at it as an 89 cent discount on the two packs of cigarettes I was buying.

Second . . . I walk across the parking lot to the Taco Bell for a quick lunch. When I get home, I find an extra burrito supreme in my bag.

Third . . . After enjoying a scrumptious Taco Bell lunch, I check my FB page and find out that my wife has won the monthly prize from Roy Tweedy's Butcher Shop . . . 5 lbs of their gourmet meatballs.

If only Publishers Clearing House coulda jumped on my lucky streak. I sure could use $5000 a week for the rest of my life !

Oh well, maybe NEXT prize drawing.

So I’m up at 2:00 AM as the dog decided he needed to go out. While I haven’t heard from spackler or burner, neither of them (or me) lives close to the affected area. The pictures look awful, though. Now through May can be rough in this part of the country - tornado season part one. Part 2 kicks off in the fall.

News of that tornado looks sick. Don't think I would like to live where storms like that are a possibility. Sunshine never flattened too many communities.

Woman has not been killed yet....

Yet....

Got home from the gym Sunday... About 230.
She states she'll make us breakfast. Great.

But first she wants to find the plates....

.....ok....

She starts unpacking boxes... Fully unpacking boxes.... Not just looking in and moving on.

At about 3pm I say screw it... I need to eat and I have other unpacking tasks to do. So I grab a bar and head upstairs. She then decides to start cooking, because I'm no longer helping her fully unpack any number of random boxes... And starts in on we have to find the plates *right now*because the food is ready.

Sigh....

When the snow thaws I'm going to have to find some appropriate dig sites.

Also.... Every damn kitchen in the US has a silverware drawer! They are the perfect width to fit a silverware tray with some space around for additional stuff...

What sort of monster decides the silverware tray should go in the drawer that's like 3x the width???? We have unused drawers of the right size and she goes and puts that damn tray in what amounts to the junk drawer!!!

I'm going to have to get a divorce if she lives though this.
