Nothing yet. I'll give em a ring tomorrow. It's a small two bay shop, so I wasn't anticipating a quick answer.

Ok wishing a good deal my friend.

There’s one way to be sure. Gonz

I’ve had a beard for over a decade. Prolly just a bit more gray in it than back then, though. I have been told by Mrs Monkey and my boys that I am not allowed to shave it.

Continuing the streak of cold, grey days.

We don't get a Spring any more. 40s for a few weeks, then 70s.

To be fair, she does make me shave my back. But I’m not sure that counters your assertion.

Less so down here, but since I’m cold any time the temp is under 70, it works for me. Speaking of, it’s sunny and 82 as I watch the sun go down.

71 tomorrow, 75 Thursday, and 78 on Friday... my 3 days off.

I should probably drink heavily. It's been a while.

My preferred charter, the motor vessel "San Diego" out of Seaforth Landing, is finding bluefin tuna offshore.

I went out on that boat the last 2 weeks and got 4 yellowtail, 2 bonito, and 1 sand bass combined. If I go again, a couple of 40+ pound bluefin tuna would be quite nice.

The wife loves bluefin, but I dunno how she'll feel about me going on these charters when I have a boat.

This rain is not letting up.

Sump pump is struggling to keep up. Gonna be taking on water in the basement soon. Picked up everything I could, made sure power strips and stuff were off the floor.

I'd like to go to bed but I don't see that happening.

I hate this week.

Edit: it's cresting the sump pit. Here we go...

My neighbor down the hill certainly does. The creek is way over the banks and he's got moving water flowing against his house.

Went outside to dig out the sump pump discharge pipe thinking maybe it broke or got clogged. Couldn't find the pipe underground but now I have a trench across the front yard.

Looks like it did something though. Waters back below the rim of the sump pit and slowly working down.

I'm tempted to call off work tomorrow and spend the day in the rain digging in a new sump outflow pipe. Gonna try to get some sleep, head to the Home Depot in the morning for some gasketed drain pipe. I'd go borrow a mini excavator from my father in law, but my truck's broke so looks like I'm digging a ditch by hand.

0315 gonna try to sleep.

Went back out and used some leftover pieces of siding from the house to direct the downspouts far away. Thought I had some gutter sections but looks like I scrapped em, this was the next best thing I could find.

Sump pump's been keeping up much better, but I noticed water coming in from one of the basement windows. Water level's right at the window frame. It's flowing downhill, not building up any higher. Should be fine. [-o<[-o<

Hang in there Danm. If you make it to Fri you should be good. In the meantime, I'll grab some Ark building materials. Can swing by once finished. Now, can somebody tell me what the hel is a cubit?

A cubit is an ancient measure of length, approximately equal to the length of a forearm. It was typically about 18 inches or 44 cm, though there was a long cubit of about 21 inches or 52 cm.

The long cubit was for the tall guys. Their forearms are longer. Ask Frankie T about the long cubit. I'm only 5' 10".

Perfect. Let the construction begin.

I saw on the news that the levy broke in Davenport, Iowa and flooded the town. Lived there a few months in the early 70's. Floods were not uncommon in the spring back then. The rain here has been light with many dry periods, so no flooding to speak of and no heavy rainfall until Sunday. Rivers are all running high and near flood stage.

Woke up and realized a flaw in my plan to put new pipe under the front yard... I'd need a truck to pickup the pipe.

God as my witness, I have had the same problem since two months ago. Mine would come and go away, and then come and go away again. I made homemade remedies up like lemon, ginger, garlic...worked a little. The pain was so bad I thought I was going to have to go to doctor, but I decided to get creative instead.

I wonder what this comes from?

I don't have allergies, never had. I don't have sinuses either... I never get them.
I am thinking that I need my tonsils removed if I keep having it pop up.

The closest thing that comes close to hurt is that time of month. That hurts, but other than that, healthy as an ox.

(sorry if TMI)
