mornin. I’m miserable and have been up all night. Hospital screwed up and gave me really bad UV burns. Worse than any sunburn I’ve ever had and it’s head to toe (the junk was covered with a solar jock, and my face was covered with a Siberian husky mask lol)

Ugh

Been using the same machine for about a year. Started at 15 seconds and worked up to 2 minutes and 15 seconds last week. Today (now yesterday) when it started it said 4 minutes and 30 seconds. I hit the call button and she said the machine recalibrated every day and it would be fine. I argued but she knew better. There is no way in hell the machine delivers the same number of joules in 4:30 that it did last week in 2:15. No amount of energy draw or bulb deterioration would do that in a year let alone a week. Another example of medical harm caused by inadequate protocols and procedures. Common.

By the way it’s my anniversary today and I was going to maybe get lucky. Now I look like hellboy and don’t want to get touched lol. Headache, fever, chills, pain blah. Aspirin, aloe, cbd oil, topical steroids, whisky and I can neither confirm or deny weed. No sleep for T. And I have to go back to square one when I start again.

The sad thing is I have a home unit I use twice a week but they insist I use theirs once a week ($$) because it is controlled. Bastages.

Gonna mow after work. Rains sposeda come the next two days.

Got home and went to the bathroom. I swear my 6 year old kid manages the grumipest old man chits. Going in after him is like a truck stop stall that a bearded 350 pound trucker just waddled away from. He dropped a deuce in the camper yesterday about 0515 and woke us up.

Good morning, y’all

Already got in a hilly 6 mile walk. Now to clean the house and go to the site for Mrs Monkey’s birthday celebration tonight. Just grilling some stuff with some friends over. Should be a good time, particularly if the rain stops tonight.

Hoping for some cigar time as well. We’ll see.

Happy anniversary, TW. Sorry about the UV burns. Hang in there.

Sounds like you're becoming domesticated. Next thing you know you'll be exchanging cookie recipes. Deadeye, how do you survive that heat? I know it's dry, but seems like it would be difficult to tolerate.

Back to work.

Next two to three years the traffic is going to suck. The two main north-south corridors in the area are down to one lane in each direction for bridge construction. The E-W road to get to the hospital is closed entirely. Heavy traffic on the N-S roads and then have to either drive 4 miles north to get around to work on main roads or spend an equal amount of time cutting through residentials.

The roads are going to be closed for at least two years while they redo an intersection and RR crossing thats been problematic forever.

Yesterday took 40 minutes for my 9 mile commute. Probably gonna be the norm.

There's one in Coronado and Carlsbad... those are the only 2 locations in SD. But there's one in Temecula, and that's where we went.

No snow birds clogging the roads, low rates on the golf courses, easy to get into restaurants/bars, AC everywhere you go, 5 lakes within 30-45 minutes and trip to the high country is only 90- 120 minutes away. We owned a mountain house until last Oct and sold thinking we would find another with a better view. So far we have not found the right one but still looking.

From more than 2 miles away, we could hear the Paul McCartney concert.

Even for a hardening, sometimes bitter, aging man, he moved me.

Baby, I'm amazed.

Yes. Sat in the parking lot for 90 minutes and didn't hear much. Winds out of the east. Somewhat bummer, we went home. Kept hearing something. Went out on the deck, and could clearly hear The last four or five songs. Such a talent. Seventy six year old man put on a three hour concert. A true treasure.

Something did. Felt like I still have the remnants of a soul. Guess I'm not dead yet.
