Any self respecting MtF transgender would have taken care of the facial hair.

That being said, if you want female emojis you probably should bug the great and powerful shana....

She can then tell you why you won't get them. :)

You're assuming MtF. May well be FtM that felt chin hair plugs was a step they chose to best pursue self visualization

Made it to the track. Not without issues of course.

Was crossing the bridge over Lake Nickajack at the TN/GA border. Kinda steep bridge but I felt like I had excessive drag. Was nearly full throttle to maintain 40 up the hill, but then on the downhill I let off throttle and slowed down...

Pulled off at the next exit and went to check trailer. I used my infrared thermometer at every gas stop to check hub and tire temps, and one hub was slowly climbing. Was at 135F while the other three were 115 at the last stop 150 miles prior so I was a little concerned but 135 isn't disaster hot.

Didn't even need to shoot that hub, the wheel was leaning 20 degrees. Shot it anyway, 280F.

Dropped the trailer and took the hub apart. The brake hub cracked but thankfully the race surfaces on the spindle weren't gouged. Drove to Chattanooga and bought replacement parts and put it back together.

2 hour emergency roadside repair but if it was gonna happen, it happened in the best way.

7.8mpg for the whole trip.

That trailer was HEAVY. My poor truck worked hard. Full throttle up all the mountains and the steepest one I was down to 35mph at the top. Spent 90% of the drive at 3000-3500 rpm.

Gonna be 113-114 next few days so acting like a lizard and getting all the outside exercise and work done early. Now time for a cigar in the shade. The RH is low enough that 114 feels like only about 107 so there is that.

82 today. Luckily I was shielded from being outside from 6:30 to 4:45. Thank you, Work!

Good evening, y’all. Frank and 8, I’ll try to do better.

Life getting in the way of, well, life. Too much work, dealing with some vertigo issues, too hot to go out and smoke much (even for me - heat index of 115° is discouraging), took up salsa dancing with Mrs Monkey, United started brilliantly then resumed normal service, Miami opens the 150th college football season against cross state rival Florida this weekend, trying to get to the beach one more time before it cools down, planning a trip to St Martin this winter, etc.

I’ll have to look back on the last few 500s to see what I missed....

Hot town, summer in the city
Back of my neck getting dirty and gritty
Been down, isn't it a pity
Doesn't seem to be a shadow in the city
All around, people looking half dead
Walking on the sidewalk, hotter than a match head Mad

*sigh*

Was awake 46 of 48 hours and stupid stressful 750 mile drive. Cargo trailer I pulled down has mostly electronics and merchandise for the festival, so no need to empty it just yet and risk rain so didn't have a place to sleep when I got here. Had a beer and passed the F out in my truck for 3 hours. I have a tent always in my toolbox but didnt feel like setting it up

Woke up and the staff RVs got delivered. I don't get one for the weekend but get to squat in one till my trailer's empty. Gonna head to the "nice" showers on the south end of the track (they have warmish water and a curtain) take a shower, and hopefully get the only sleep I'll get till Sunday night.

The mosquitos in Georgia are different. They're tiny and black and I react a helluva lot more to their bites than I do to the light grey ones at home. Each bite is a quarter sized bump and itches like hell.

Wife hates me going on "solo vacation" and I always tell her it's my hobby job, not vacation.

If I wanted to take a vacation, an event where there's 8-10k college kids and electronic dance music would not likely be my first choice.

I do it to help my buddies that put on the event. I get paid a little, therefore it's a job. I'll get paid more this month from my hobby job than my wife does for her part time job.

I don't know how people live in places like this. Thinking of you DED.

0900 already humid and 90 degrees and the sun feels like a blowtorch.

I hate the cold, but this is brutal. Spose it would be better if there was air conditioning to escape to.

You’d be surprised how quickly you adapt to it. There are usually a couple of weeks in the summer where it’s too hot for me, but if ithe heat index is in the 90’s, it’s nothing a fan and some shade can’t handle. Now, when it gets below 70, I’ll have on a jacket.

And Corey’s right, you usually get your first cool down in mid-September.

Find a bench in a shopping mall, Dan. Take a newspaper with you and take a nap.
People will think you dozed off while reading the paper.

They have some American TV show on. I'm thinking I should ask them to change it to soccer and maybe play some Mexican music.

Long exhausting day. Drank a whole case of water and didn't pee till the sun went down. Stripped to my underpants and laid down in the trailer with the fan blowing on me to cool off. Ended up falling asleep for an hour.

Got up, hung some more banners n stuff, but had to throw in the towel for today. I've got nothing left in me. Time to shower and have a couple beers. More work tomorrow, and even more Friday.
