Meeting with shippers at the office to send a load out. A family we met here runs a small local shipping business and I thought it'd be worthwhile to use him to get some of our goods out. Be easier than LTL shipping and palletizing and all that crap.

Izon... I think you misunderstood.

This is the 4th planter for the woman.

The first 3/4ths of her were already buried, just needed more space to put the last bit underground. It was taking up valuable freezer space.

You can still keep the head in the freezer and see her icy gaze.
And kiss her familiar ice-cold lips.
Any time, at your whimsy.

A moment of beauty and solitude.
A frozen rapture.

Off to NH for a week's vacation in NH from yard work. Got there around 3:30 PM and had a couple of great cigars before and after dinner. Life is good.

Cam was head of an initiation process that he may have taken too far... Several times...

Cam fact: he hated the I would walk 500 miles song so I'd routinely send him messages from my fake accounts that would go something like "hey, I got a serious question for you about my husband hank. I wanted to know if I grow-old (when I grow-old) well I know I'm gonna be, I'm gonna be the man who's growing old with you...

AND I WOULD WALK 500 MILES AND I WOULD WALK 500 MORE!

Went to my Annual White Mountain Boogie and Blues Fest last weekend,,,,great time

Got home Sunday, and went to work Monday afternoon....when I got home at 3am or so Tuesday, I found my wife had fallen at about 4pm or so Monday, shortly after I left for work. She was on the floor the entire time I was gone. She couldn't help herself get up, and her phone was on a counter out of her reach.

I found her and the dog curled up on the floor together when I got home....I immediately got her to the ER, and they spent all day Tuesday running tests and Dr. stuff....She had a really bad infection in her foot and leg(she's Diabetic), she also had a UTI, and was severely dehydrated(they gave her about 6 bags of fluid)

She was in the Hospital until about 7pm Saturday. She's home now, and things are healing and getting better. She still has the leg infection(cellulitis), but it is clearing up slowly.

It was pretty scary, this is about the third time in the last few years she's had this kind of infection....last time they didn't think she would make it....I think it may have been pretty close this time too, but they locked in on the correct antibiotics pretty quick this time....

Sorry this was so long, but I've been scared and worried about her for about a week and I just wanted to tell you all to let those you love know how much you love them and need them......My kiss goodbye last Monday could have been the last Kiss Goodbye EVER....Glad I was to tired to work OT last Monday and came home on time or it very well may have been our last kiss....I'm just Thankful she's still with me....[-o< [-o<

Prayers for you and the wife... Glad everything's looking ok... You gotta get an Alexa now... A quick "Alexa, call my husband" or "alexa, call 911" is all it would take for her in those situations....

WOW ! So sorry to hear that, Rick, but glad she's on the road to recovery.
I think some sort of an "alert" contraption is definitely a good idea. Never thought of "Alexis", but that would seem to be an option as well, providing she didn't fall out of Alexis's hearing range. An "around the neck" device would be better.
Will keep you guys in my thoughts and prayers.

John
