Fresh tuna, raw, with a dab of wasabi dipped in soy sauce/lime juice combo. Oh muh gawd.

Then I took a couple slices with salt/pepper and pan seared them in an olive oil/butter combo. Oh muh gawd.

The guys got into some tuna on steel beach one day. Sashimi'ed it right there on the fantail. Amazing. Applause

Mornin' dudes...

A buddy killed a feral hog and gave me a pork shoulder to smoke. It's all up on da smoker.

Drafter could probably go for some pork up in da pan about now. Mellow

This chunk was a shade under 5 lbs and looked as good as any store bought stuff. Maybe a little darker.

I'm sure it's gonna be delish. Got it on the pellet smoker with a blend of oak/hickory/cherry.

I've got another group of friends that use puppy-dogs to catch pigs.. they cage them and feed them corn for 30 days before they cut them up.. it's suppose to take the 'game' out of them.. Mellow

Actually going to a missou football game today with a couple neighbors.

Haven't been to a football game live in probably over 30 years.

The woman has to skip her normal 3 hours at the gym for this... So she's prolly gonna get fat now.

Remember learning that at the Horseshoe years back. The bathroom floors were littered with empty, tiny bottles of smuggled liquor. Had I only known ahead of time

YAY!
they assured me at the store it was 100 edible with no danger of splinters and stuff.

I shoulda sent her a cigar too. It was a sungrown, but not a rosada sungrown. She like sungrown wrappers?

My cat is a BIG fan of yellowfin sashimi... she is not a fan of wasabi, however.

Fortunately there was alcohol.

We all drank (except the wife) and left somewhere in the 2nd half.

I didn't make.many fopahs other than a reference to a 5th down...

Meh... To be fair I'd misread a "4th and 5"... I knew there wasn't supposed to be a 5th down, but for whatever reason thought it said "... And 5th"... So I was asking since when did college add a 5th down....

I was totally wrong of course... But that was why I made the error.

Just upgraded my old 2008 Honda CR-V with 130K miles for a 2018 with 11K miles. Been looking and dealing with internet sales forces in my area for two weeks. Walked out of two places that had great prices but would not meet my trade in bottom line or wanted to add some dealer upcharge.

Finally got the deal on the car I wanted at the third place but it took about two hours of negotiating. I knew going in it would not be quick or easy. Happy to be done with it for another ten years.

Hondas will definitely last longer than that. I have had about 10-12 of them (including four right now). Wife liked our CR-V, but the lease deal we got on the Pilot was so great we couldn't resist the upgrade. Anyhow, we are a "Honda family."
