Good morning and early afternoon with a couple brothers. Herfing and pizza.

Mini-nap, then maybe another one (or two).

Afternoon, all. Short four wisdom teeth and full on vegetating through my day. Anyone happen to know when it's safe to smoke again? From what I'm reading I'm looking at about 5 days

Gators just scored, but are still down 24-10 in the 4th Q. Florida has -3 yards rushing. Not looking good...

Bit of a mixed bag today. Didn’t sleep well, but got up early to go the store. A little chilly. Man United was abhorrent and lost to Bournemouth, raked a bit and recycled some pine straw to refresh the landscaping, headed to a friend’s house to watch my Hurricanes make it 3 in a row over FSU. Florida lost (sorry, rfenst). Came home and had a scotch and smoke to celebrate. Chilly again. Well, make that scotches....

I've read medical reports that state that you should start smoking immediately after any surgery.
It builds up your body's resistance and acclimates your healing flesh to the presence of smoke.

At least, that's what I've read...

Hello Manchester Misery. You are in good company with me.

Sincerely- the most lost Arsenal team I've seen since deciding to support them in 2019. Ugh.

Damn Dan! You’re a brave soul! I did 2 at a time...10 years apart. I could still eat but hadda chew on the “good side”. Wasn’t into cigars at the time so don’t have any smoking advice for you. Good luck with your recovery.

Thanks Conan. Doing it in stages was actually recommended, but I did the recovery time math (multi procedure cost played into it too) and told him I to rip the fuggin bandaid off. I'm finding in a pinch, canines and incisors can do some chewing, at least for the macaroni and rice I'm making meals out of currently

My cold is getting worse, not better.

Can't breathe out my nose, can't taste anything.

Mowed the leaves when I got home. Froze my ass off. Now time for another Nyquil coma. 2 to go, then off a week maybe.

Coworker asked me to look at his car this morning, said it was making funny noises. Brakes are SHOT. Not the worst I've seen, but it's up there. Asked if I'd take a side job, so I'm gonna price that out. It's probably going to be a full system replacement. Lines, hoses, calipers, master cylinder, rotors and pads with hardware. Likely close to $1k including labor. Not sure I want the job, but I've got the time. Will be a full days work. I'll try to price myself out and if I get it, I do it.

It's gonna be mechanic danm week. Gotta do oil changes and stuff on mine, and winterize all my small engines. Need to do ball joints tie rods and shocks on my truck soon too

Sounds like what I had and still have. When I came in today after doing leaves, I started coughing and a blood vessel in my nose broke. Took a 15 minute nap and felt better until I just started coughing again.

I need to put together a cover for one of the woman's planters. She's started composting in it and something is going in and digging around.

The weekend comes to a close. On the sporting plus side, the Chiefs won and the Vikings lost. Both at the same time.

Thanks all... Did sushi and drive in the mountains...

Probably finish up reading captain underpants to the kids tonight... My sister recommended it as a rebound from the heavy nature of Charlottes web... In 2 sittings we've finished 18 of 20 chapters... They absolutely love it...

That was one of my son’s favorites. Good memories. Between that and your anny, it was a good weekend.
