Haven’t really missed smoking...............might just quit...

Fell asleep at 8 last night... Woke up at midnight and puked (too many cough drops)... Throat isn't sore anymore but it's up in my sinuses now...

No cigar since a week before Christmas... I didn't "quit", just gave up nicotine addiction... I'm happier and I think I'll appreciate the next cigar I have much more than I have appreciated a cigar in many many years...

Out and about doing some last minute stuff for the game today. People here in the Chief's Kingdom are going crazy. This whole part of the state is a sea of red. If the Chiefs pull this off, I might be the only person at work tomorrow

Ran to the store thinking I'd get something for the grill or smoker.

But work called offering double time and a half to come in tonight. I told them I cant do 7p, but if someone volunteers to stay over till 9-10pm I can make it in then.

They called back, got someone to stay till 11. So, gotta work tonight

You don't even like joints... you prefer the bowl.

My old gym earbuds broke yesterday, so I ordered some new ones that just arrived. Senso wireless earbuds.

I had to use my good headphones in the gym this morning... didn't want to do that, but had to.

I have skipped the gym for the last 2 years. Put on about 10 pounds, but my blood pressure is still good.

I enjoy the gym. I really enjoy running... but my feet do not... so I have been using the adaptive motion trainer. Also enjoy the feeling after lifting weights, once the soreness is gone, that is.

Running is rough on the joints.
I trail run in the winter with my spiked boots, but I try not to allow my body weight to fall on my fully extended legs to reduce the wear on my knees and ankles

just wanted a good game and this was fun. But happy for the KC fullback Sherman. The kid went to high school about 15 miles down the road from my town.
He was a beast back then.

Off to work

3 night shifters called off for the week. One called off to go on vacation, one says "I got a flare up of my *cough* bronchitis" that started a few minutes after getting yelled at for being an idiot, and another has ear pain.

Already were short this week, and I'm scheduled all week, so this is gonna be fun. Brick wall

Well... the best team won. Congrats to the Chiefs, Andy Reid and all Chief's fans.

I told my wife 10 points going into the 4th was not enough. Patrick Mahomes is a beast... but I think Williams deserved the MVP.

Happy for Andy Reid but with Eric Bieniemy being one of the hot candidates for a head coach position, the KC success could be shortlived.

Feel best for the life long Chiefs fans. I’ve only been on their warpath since they hit rock bottom in 87/88. 4/11/1 was awful. Christian Okoye, Barry (discouraging) Word, Priest Holmes. Great QBs like Blackledge, Fuller, DeBerg, an old Montana, Huard...and now relief and a surreal feeling of nfl calm.

32 years pulling for KC, 29 of drought as a Sox fan, and 30 years old before the Packers won it all. I sure know how to take the long road to the summit.

Have a peaceful night.

I'll be fine in 3-4 days when they quit showing the fkn highlights. d'oh!

Life goes on... sometimes you win, sometimes you suffer soul-crushing defeats in the 4th quarter.
