Things got a bit too much for my wife at work... Boss was grateful she held on this long but realized it's too much for her... So she's working from home from here on out... Takes a load off of my mind...

I'm setting up a home office this weekend, her boss is buying her a computer and said if internet speed isn't fast enough he'll pay for what will work...

Made a strawberry crumble too celebrate the new arrangement... I'm happy and fat...

Going for attempt #3 on a loaf of white bread... I've been over fermenting the yeast and it's been coming out tasting like white wine...

My wife continues to go into the office and insists on running all of the errands every day. She just told me she feels “run down”, went to bed and is quietly snoring two minutes after hitting the pillow. Amazing how a person’s anxiety can go from 3.5 to 8.5 after hearing a single sentence.

Sleep won’t be easy tonight. At least for me.

Found a sparsely populated place to hunker down for the duration of this schitt.
Aside from disappearing into the boonies on occasion, 98.2% certain I'll be staying here.

Morning Cheno and the rest of yous. I'm doing my social distancing on the desert trails today. Been seeing requests for blood donations saying they are critically low, so I made an appointment to give blood on Monday. They won't let the wife donate cuz she is under the weight limit.

Trying to get creative with the workouts since they closed the gyms. Kinda wishing I had one of those total body contraptions that Chuck Norris pushes.

We at John Deere are proud to have been declared "critical infrastructure" and are exempted from same proclamation. We will, in this time of pestilence, disease, and famine, to produce the finest in agriculture and Lawn care products.

Seriously. DHS exempted us. Of course, no one is really locked down. But I keep a 30 day pantry so we're good.

Do you have a kettlebell? I did a workout in the back yard that will get the blood flowing for sure. Set a timer for 20 minutes and start it. Do 10 burpees, 10 kettlebell swings and then 10 squats with the kettlebell one right after the other. Rest for 30 seconds and repeat until the timer goes off.

That will 100% kick your ass. Total body workout and your heart rate will skyrocket for 20 minutes.

I am a utility worker so I have to work as well. Only was supposed to be on vacation for my kids spring break so we can do something but those things have changed now. I have plenty of food too. And if it comes to it where I dare break into the emergency/camping supply I have food for many months.

Can't do any kind of workout that involves squats due to my damned knee. Doing most anything else including upper body, dips, pushups, pull-ups, etc. I walk 4-5 miles each day @ 4 mph but the heart rate never gets up past 115 or so. Nothing like a good run which I no longer can do. Think I need a total gym thingy.
