I am glad he is taking the time to help all the guys out with there issues. Hopefully they send him some Gurkhas and Cohiba red dots.

Those Cohiba red dots are weird... ever notice they never say "havana" on them anywhere? Starting to think they might not even be Cuban....

went up to courtright for the evening bite yesterday... got there about 5, hiked to my solitary little spot, and proceeded to catch 3 rainbows and decent little brown...

Also got to see one of those fire fighting helicopters with the water grabbing hose... flew right over me... didn't grab any water though...

Got home around 10ish, made a couple tri tip steaks, and then slept like a rock for 7 hours...

Really guacamuggy 92F this morning in da desert. Feels like Iowa without the tornado warnings. Did a 4 mile death march and now loading up to head for the mountains for a few days.

System outage...That’s exactly the kind of thing I would expect the ‘Rona to say. Sounds like a ‘Rona takeover.

So... is it that we cannot help... or is it that we choose not to help because it's funnier?

Or both?

OUTRAGE.

I bought two TEN packs of a specific cigar in freefall.

They just shipped on-time but instead of two TEN packs, it looks like they sent me four FIVE packs!

WTFBBQ?????

Been on hold for 93 minutes trying to resolve this. I already spoke to Celtic AND Jerry Falwell.

At least you got more packs than ordered. I once won four 5 packs and only received 1 lousy bundle of 20. Been on hold for 3 months and have sent 14,369 emails

SOB, I feel for you. It's like that old SNL skit for the International Bank of Change. It's all a scam.

Opel, I called but the phone system said "Press 1 for Tops, Press 2 for Bottoms" and I had no idea what that meant so I pressed "3" and it was for Bears... I don't like Chicago so I hung up.

I will sometimes tell my wife:

1. I’m figuring out what to do with the rubbish
2. I’m figuring out what’s the best tool to use
3. I’m figuring out the safest way to do the job
4. I’m still looking for some YouTube videos to show me how to do it
5. I’m waiting till the sun goes on the other side of the house
6. I just started this other thing and will get to it as soon as I can

“Success” varies and ymmv depending on your acting skills. RollEyes

So... Got the weird plastic filter cylinder yesterday to test out... Put 6 scoops of grounds in and dropped it in a pitcher of water to sit overnight.

Results so far are not spectacular. Coffee it much too light in color, haven't gotten enough extraction. I think either another 10hrs of sitting will help, or possibly upping the amount of coffee grounds.

Unfortunately, the bottom line is this morning's coffee is going to be sub-par.

Do you like a caffeine kick? Put it in the fridge and leave it for a week... the taste is way smoother than coffee made with hot water...

That's what I was doing with the bags. Threw them in and about 20hrs at room temp, then just left the bag in and put the pitcher in the fridge. It would get drank over about 5 days, so it would get stronger each time.

I’ve picked up a small box of Cafe Bustelo Espresso Instant Coffee.

My plan is to make it then let it sit in the fridge for a few hours.

Bustelo is powerful on its own, even if weakened by my planned process.
