2 mile hike took an hour 20 minutes.

Some pretty rough spots.

Puppy dog mostly walked in the water.

Gonna float down the creek in a canoe in a lil bit hopefully. Nobody's answering the phone to make reservations, so gonna drive up there and hope theres walkups available. If not, make reservations and go back later

So the coworker decided not to come in today. Since I'm a potential disease vector.

Welp, got the office to myself today.

I've got 4 of these... we use em for sun tea and lemonade and varous stuff... grab a couple and run your cold brew in them... by the time you get to the bottom you'll have a stronger than you can handle cup of coffee...

We make every single meal at home... but we also don't send a lot of stuff down the sink.... if it can go in the trash it usually does....

I just had the same one installed. But, I used my costco credit card to pay for it so I get an additional year of warranty. If you haven't installed it yet, take a picture of the serial number now so that you don't have to climb under the sink to get at it.

Creek was moving fast.

Only paddled to stay in the deeper water/avoid obstacles. Otherwise the current carried us. Covered 3.5 miles in just over an hour, even stopping for 15 minutes at an island to eat lunch.

Back at the campsite, kinda wanna do another hike on the most rugged trail - cant bring puppy dogs, theres ropes and ladders n tree trunk bridges n stuff. But wife wants to nap and boy's being a cranky camper. So beer it is then.

Not sure where CBid hosts their site, but I was getting a bunch of page load errors on the auction pages earlier. Wonder if it's related?

I had to run a few errands today, got gas at Costco. Thankfully, they just reopened their expanded pump area, I was cutting it close. It's supposed to hit 112 today, I felt like a Pepperoni Hot Pocket in the toaster oven walking around outside.

Damn Ram that blows.

I'm down one generator, blew an engine last summer. They were/are both 20 years old, bought for y2k and bought by me cheap from the warehouse that liquidated their leftovers in 07-08 ish.

I wanted to do a natural gas automatic whole house generator, but the power company added another substation down the street so I've got 3 all within a mile so unless a pole gets taken out pretty much in front of my house, there's a reroute path. Been 5 years since I've needed the generator to run the house, but still want to have one ready all the time.

I can't imagine why you don't just stay in the hills while it's God-awful hot during the summer months.

Currently 61 with a predicted high of 84. I've got the whole-house fan running since last night. 67 degrees in the house right now. I'm gonna let it run for a bit more and then close the house up. AC may not even kick on today.
