Went food shopping...

The meat section was full but the dry sundries and such had big empty holes...
Couldn't find any ( and mean any freakin' brand of thousand islands dressing) none at all...half the bread was empty and certain paper products were 3/4's totally empty...

I did luck out on tickets...tonygraz says don't say how much $$$'s.....well...I won't but let's say over a Ben "Frankj1" Lin...

The rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated...

Went to the VA at 6am, covid tent was closed so I went into the ER to ask when it opened and they said to wait outside and someone would come out. Nurse came out, took my vitals, swabbed my nostril and sent me packin'...

Just got off the phone with the doctor. Positive for covid.

Doctor asked me if I had any of the shots - nope. Then he said he'd looked over my chart and since I am not obese, diabetic, or on bp meds I should be fine. Told me to rest and get plenty of fluids.

Also told me that in a week or so, if I am fully recovered, it would be beneficial to get the shot. Says if a new variant pops up and I have natural immunity and the shot it would be that much better for me.

I wish you well in your recovery.

39/46 in LA. Cloudy with winds 15 to 20 with gust to 40. It appears it is going to be a chilly day.

If I leave here tomorrow
Would you still remember me?
For I must be traveling on now
'Cause there's too many places I've got to see
But if I stay here with you, cbid
Things just couldn't be the same
'Cause I'm as free as a bird now
And this bird you cannot change
Oh, oh, oh, oh
And the bird you cannot change
And this bird, you cannot change
Lord knows, I can't change

Excellent question.

I'd love to fish Costa Rica. Crocodile Bay Resorts...

Would also love to fish Australia or New Zealand. They've got the same species of fish we target here in SoCal, but they call it a yellowtail kingfish. We just call it yellowtail.

I've visited Cairns, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne... I had a good time there.

Way before the 'Rona, though. Now? Pffft... I wouldn't go there if someone else paid for the trip.

Hope the cork doesn’t break like mine did last year. Gonz

My bottle was 6 years old at the time. After filtering out the broken pieces, good as new! 🥃

And for MACs’ services, although already opened, I’ll bring my Blanton’s Straight From the Barrel. ‘Course, depending on when it’s scheduled, there may be (…a lot…) less by the time I get there. Anxious

Did you check with RAM before making your vacation plans?

With one kid only, keeping the other two with the Grandma's. Grandpa is going with.
I did not check with RAM. Hotel is covered by Grandpa's timeshare so that helps out for a lot of expenses.
