Where the hell are you that it's 72, Danm? In your garage with the heater going?

Sposta be 75 tomorrow. The plan is to launch around 3pm and drop some lobster traps in the bay and see if we can't get a few keeper spiny lawbstahs. Smoke a cigar or two... maybe sip some whiskey.

Understand it. What is also bad is is you don’t look like there is anything wrong with you, so it looks simply like you are being lazy.

If you can get Bio-Freeze Gel, soak your back in that three times more effective than things like Icy Hot.

79 with a breeze and without a cloud in the sky. Going down to 56F tonight.

Tomorrow will be a little cloudy and perhaps a bit more humid. Driving down to Boca in the evening to celebrate my daughter Hanna's 25th birthday! Staying overnight until late Saturday afternoon and expect lots of rain on the return trip.

Life sucks with my hand in the temporary splint they made me in the doctor's office. Very frustrating and lots I just can't do right. It's sucking worst that I can't swim or work-out for maybe 6 weeks. Don't get the custom-fitted brace until next week ram27bat

Two block dog walk was all she could handle. Her dump almost froze before it hit the ground.
Stopped at the club for a cigar.
Home safe, leftovers eaten.

Snow in the early morning as we got back into the freezer. Did a quick scrape to get the inc of snow off the ice on the driveway and managed to get the car out before noon. Sunny and cold with a breeze but lighter wind than this AM. Chopped ice in the driveway this afternoon - got plenty left to deal with. No snow until Tuesday.

had a good day today...took my older sister (70 yr old) to her first PT appointment.

She has been living in a senior community, on the independent side...her physical condition has been deteriorating for the past 4-5 years and she has fallen numerous times...recently, she has been unable to get up from the floor when she falls...the center has called the local FD for "lift assist" emergency services...I told them to stop calling the Fire Department...instead I want them to call me and I'll go and get her up...that's happened twice, so we scheduled appts with a neurologist who made referrals for PT.

This repeats a pattern that happened two years before, after she fell, injured her head, neck and shoulder and was hospitalized...she never followed through with those appointments...we moved her out of her condo, and into the senior community where we hoped she would improve, but it didn't happen...my wife and I said we'd have to intervene and after her last fall, we were prepared to move her into assisted living.

Long story short, unbeknownst to us, she recently had neglected to refill her blood pressure meds when they ran out...then she started falling...usually while rushing to the bathroom...we refilled the prescription, bought her some slim fitting Depends and escorted her to the Neurologist and her PT sessions. My wife agreed to keep an eye out for her meds at her on-line pharmacy page, and to get them refilled before they run out. Hopefully, with our help and pushing, my sister will regain some of her independent living skills.

delta, glad you are there (and willing) to care for your sister. Does her pharmacy have an auto-refill? I know a lot of the online ones just keep shipping pills out if you sign up for the auto-delivery. Might save you and your wife from one more headache if they have it.

Good Friday Morning! It's just 35° on the way to 36° today.

We're taking a Grandaughter out to dinner tonight. We are celebrating her birthday. She is one sharp cookie, in her first year of charter high school, she is ranked the number one student.

Just got back from having my hand brace dispensed and fitted. See the doc again in about 3 weeks. My hand hurts from being in the brace more than the original injury, but the prosthetics guy said it's normal and to give it a few days to get used to.

Waiting for my wife to come home early to head down to Boca Raton for my daughter's birthday. Although she has her boss' permission to leave, his boss is in the building and Rebecca won't/can't leave 'till she does- 'cause the higher up is a nasty bitch. She has just 18 more days working there before she starts her new job.

Such is life... Herfing

Imma just stay here and let him burn off every bit of energy he has

Boy finally got cold enough to go back to the room.

Tried to call in an order to my favorite place here but they weren't answering so after 5 tries I figured I'll head down and put in an order and have a beer while I wait.

So I'm doing that now.

36/51 in LA with the sun returning this afternoon.

It appears the frig/freezer in the kitchen maybe on the way out. A purchase maybe on tap today provided the wife can find one she likes and or if any are available.

Sitting on my daughter's couch in Boca Raton. Came down last night to celebrate her 25th birthday. Going home late this afternoon. Nice to hang out.

Got hand splint/brace yesterday. Very uncomfortable, but better than the soft cast from the doctor's office. Just gonna take a few days to get used to it for the next 5-6 weeks. Might have to buy a second one so that I can take one off, wash it and let it dry overnight while wearing the other one.

Looking forward to tonight's vherf...
