Once you start putting teachers out for a 2 week quarantine or worse, who's the sub? And when the sub gets pulled out then what? Already have had classes years past where there was no substitute teacher and the kids had a parent volunteer basically just reading books, had an extra gym period, etc. No real education. Granted that's 1st grade for us, but what about the rest of the school...
The school board has really doubled down, theyve said they will not close down the schools unless directed by the board of health or education or something. Basically only will stop if it comes from the state. But if there's no teachers whats the plan.
My idiot sisters and their husbands put their kids in private schools who initially said no mask requirements (and they did it for that reason) now are talking about unenrolling the kids to homeschooling so they dont have to mask up. Not for fear of infection, because covid is fake, but because they dont want the kids wearing masks. Theyre the people who get kicked out of Costco and cuss out the cashiers at Walmart. My family is a bunch of stupid inconsiderate jerks
