Third night in a row with vivid dreams that I recall in the morning. Almost never remember dreams when I wake up.
Wonder what is different about the last three nights.
61 sunny. Was going to say my dog is patiently waiting, but the door is closed.
Better get rolling for the scoot and scat.

Morning palookas. Out into 88/104 for a fast walk and then headed up the hill where it is 63/82. Hoping for a nice afternoon thunderstorm which has been the norm for the last few weeks in the mountains.

Same for me... I almost never remember my dreams in the morning. Occasionally, I do.

Lots of cats around here. Tank walks toward them with hackles up, but he seems to understand that a swat in the face may be coming because he doesn't want to mess with them unless they turn and run, then he wants to chase.

Maybe the aliens that abduct you every night are getting lax on their procedures to cover their tracks.

If I were to do that, I’d probably be less of an ass.

It can wind me up or mellow me out, but ultimately make me sleep for hours.

Sativa and indica are different. From what the pot shop pro's in CA told me the indica relaxes and mellows and the sativa amps you up... sorta.

That is a fair comparison. At the same time, two different strains of sativa or of indica can be entirely different from one another as well.

Plus mixing in all of the hybrids and varying amounts of thc I can imagine there can be a lot of YMMV.

Yo! A nice 63/79 today up here. Gotta get a hike in early as the forecast is for rain starting about 11:00.

Big breakfast burrito from the food truck after the hike. Happy Friday.

Yes. But, I have truly come to learn that the different effects are from chemical components other than THC. I do have low thc stuff that will kick my @ss because of the terpene chemicals, which vary widely from strain to strain, whether sativa, indica or hybrid, play a huge part in the effects.

Terpene Chemicals? What are those?
Do some pot products have Terp Chems and others don’t?

Back onto the couch for a mini nap.

Aired up the car tires.
Got a new library card.
Gave blood.
Had a coffee and breakfast burrito date with a former coworker.

When I worked in PC Hell, my BP was continually climbing. Today, after drinking a 16 ounce Cafe Americano, my BP was 126/78. Guess I shouldn’t be surprised.

Been busy.

Trucks getting new tranny hopefully. Dealer just called me a few minutes ago and said "it's fvcked" I said I know, I brought it to you many times saying we were heading here and you told me to come back when it's really bad. It could barely move under its own power. Drove it there in 2nd gear. 3rd-6th slip and grind. No check engine light tho

Got my balls cut off Tuesday. Wasn't bad. Weirdest part was just having a coworker chopping on my cocknballs.

Finishing up a lot of projects around the house. 2 dump trucks of black dirt spread out and filled the new planters I had made. They're like cow troughs but 2ft deep no floors and powder coated to match the house. Wasn't cheap but it's what the wife wanted.... Regraded the lawn for the 4th or 5th time. Working on replanting grass. Again. Damn grass seed is $2/lb now. I need like 5 more dump trucks, but I don't want to pay for dirt so they'll come when I find the dirt. This load came from a farm that built a new barn and stripped a foot of topsoil to lay the foundation.

Put up a sail shade over the patio. Wife wants another one so that's tomorrow's project.

Took my dad's old truck out of storage so I had something to drive while my trucks in the shop. It has been sitting for at least 10 years and not regularly used for at least 20. I went through it the past few days flushing fluids and replacing parts and hoses and stuff. Couple hundred bucks in parts and probably 8-10 hours of work and I've got something I can drive for a while. I miss 80s-90s vehicles. They were all chit but I know how to work on them entirely.

For 12 years I been saying I'm gonna put in some outdoor power outlets but never have. Knocked that out Wednesday. Wire is stupid expensive now. Glad I didn't scrap my leftovers from when I wired my house in 2010. Had enough to just run another lead through the conduits and then tap a light fixture or junction box with romex to add the outdoor outlets. Did have to buy a $40 drill bit for going through the basement walls.

Had a breaker that kept tripping but my amp clamp never showed a heavy load and everything worked. Couldn't figure it out. Swapped the breaker and unplugged everything and it still tripped. I was set to pull wires and redo the circuit when I smelled burning plastic and saw flashes from behind the dishwasher. Plug was loose and arcing in the socket. I thought that was on the kitchen circuit but when I pulled the dishwasher out I remembered I added that outlet and tapped the backside of the dining room plug for power. Replaced all that stuff. My dishwasher came from the garbage, I picked it up and planned to scrap it but wife said why not try and see if it works so I did and it did. The cable from the washer to the plug had a tag on it. Tag said 04/68 and the font on the tag matched late 60's fonts too.... The washer is from 94, but the cable was much older.

Work sucks, retention contracts ran out at the beginning of July and we immediately lost 5 people from nightshift. I'm not going anywhere anytime soon, I can't give up my week on week off schedule. So that's another fun thing in my life.

I want to start on my barn soon but wife says I need to do the kitchen. She passed on my kitchen offer last spring in favor of the patio, but I can't have a barn till the house is done. Got quotes n stuff tho. Got the variance approved by the county. Looking like $50-60k ish with a full concrete floor and in floor heat. It can wait. House will be paid off in '24 so I'll probably do it then.

Just been busy.
