Pedal assist settings are 0-5. 0 is no assist. 1 is for pusses, 2 is for wusses, 3 is pretty good, 4 is fun as fugg and 5 is OH DAMN! In 7th gear with the pedal assist at 5... 28 mph.
Good golly miss molly.
Pretty cool ain't it?
Mine has 3 motor settings:
0 = no motor, just human power.
1 = about 7 mph without human power (assuming the speedometer it correct).
2 = about 14 mph without human power.
3 = 19.8 mph without human power (speedometer display is set at factory default to peg out at 19.8 mph).
I definitely know at setting 3 with added human power and gravity (going downhill) I'm going faster than 19.8 mph. Prolly around 30 mph like you. I've put on about 800 miles on the thing this past year. I have a second one that I bought my son last year for Christmas. It has about 100 miles on it but he gave it back to me since we bought him his first a car.
I live in a rather hilly town so there is a lot of braking going downhill as I come to an intersection/stop sign. I've had to change the rear brake pads (disk brakes) twice. Brake pads cost about $20 for a set of 4 on Amazon.
