Lots of cheap beer, and a well aged Caibaguan rob by the campfire.

For sure, he knows he only can use them in the garage with me or his mom there. I'm gonna need to make a better target with an auto collector for reusing ammo. The one I made already got destroyed. Probably already put 200 rounds in.

We used to play Indians and buffalo.
And we’d always run the “buffalo” kids off the cliff.
Eventually ran out of kids to play the buffalo.

Ahhh, the sweet memories of childhood...

EOP (emergency operating procedures) ended today. My buds were working 12-16 hour days. My friend Art did 11 straight... 55 hours of OT on one check. Bet the protestors didn't think they were helping the cops financially... but they sure did.

Anywho... he calls me at noon and says he's off until Wednesday, so lets BBQ and have a few beers and cigars. Shoot... just what I needed. BBQ, cigars, pool... a fun time was had.

They just have to have stainless steel. then they want the high-end appliances or brands. everything must match so you have to buy a "set".

Gonna be a hot one today. 90+ and no clouds or wind. Thankfully we have a relatively well shaded campsite but no overhanging trees so the sun's gonna be hitting soon.

Gotta take the dogs for a hike once the farm opens for visitors. Big dog loves the pigs n cows. They come up to the fence and she touches noses with them.

Hot weekend.
Took the new dog to the dog park to see whether he was reasonably social with other dogs....

since he doesn't know his name yet it involved me running after him yelling like an idiot and being completely ignored while he did something stupid like lying down in 3" of muddy water.... . Sorta like cbid.

Boy's been inside the camper all day complaining about being too hot after we did a short 3mile hike this morning.

Dogs doing the same.

I think it turned out to be a beautiful day. Sure its 90 something but theres a nice breeze and its not humid. I went for 5 miles on my bike alone.

Took a bag of ground beef outta the freezer, gonna make burgers for dinner. Couple margaritas in already, feel a nap coming on in my recliner under the ez-up.

when we renovated our last home, we paid twice as much for top tier name brand appliances as similar quality and function next tier brands...I did notice that the high end double wall oven weighed almost twice as much, so perhaps the build quality and insulation ability was better...but twice the cost?

and you can't take it with you...we decided to move about 5 years later, and the high end stuff did not factor in the sales price, according to our real estate agent...you can try to mark up the sale price to compensate, but price per sq ft. rules...

and when we moved, we couldn't pull out the high end cook-top, the high end range hood or the high end double oven, or the high end outdoor grill or built-in electric smoker...so we overspent by about $7K - 8K for high end stuff ...

well...crap...we decided to do a minor renovation of the kitchen in our current home...the double oven was nearly trashed, and just a cut above builder grade, so what did we get...the same high end double oven we bought five years ago...d'oh!

I mean, I do have an air conditioned camper so I'm not about roughing it. And two full coolers of beer n ice.

Also my seedless watermelon was riddled with both the little white seeds as well as regular big black spittin seeds.

Hand pressed beef patties on the Blackstone griddle and pressed with a cast iron pressing plate heated on the fire to get the tasty crispy edges and crust on the burgers. Turned out perfectly.

Now back to drinking beer. Gonna grab a cigar too.
