Rough start to the week. My hours were cut in half due to the financial damage resulting from Covid. No word when I will return to full-time hours. Ouch.

G'morning. Been up since 4am. Nothing to do today but change the sheets and a quick, simple run to costco and aldi. Supposed to rain. Good deal since I accidentially overdrained the pool a few inches too much this past weekend.

Shredded taters with chorizo, onion, peppers, and topped with cheese n egg.

Washed down with a bloody mary.

6 mile bike ride, half paved half unpaved.

Took puppy dogs back to the farm and walked around a bit.

Getting more humid and less breezy. Last day here, back to work tomorrow night.

Up at 6 this morning to do some internet work. Just before luch opened the garage door to see a rather large bear meandering around outside the garage about 10 feet away. He slowly worked his way down back by the pond and disappeared from sight.

Did ya wrestle him?

Just broke 95 in the shade. Outdoor probe for my in/out thermometer in the camper is on the table under the EZUP and we got a box fan blowing across the table.

Good thing the beer is cold.

Hell no, he was much bigger than MACS and had longer nails. He danced the stroll but I didn't follow him.

Macs is the only bear you have to compare him to?
229. Author: victor809Date: Tue, 6/9/2020, 1:12PM EST
Is MACS fat enough to be considered a bear? Or is he more an otter?
230. Author: teedubbyaDate: Tue, 6/9/2020, 1:16PM EST
I think he is just pasty and hairy. Pretty much a bear.

Although drafter said he was a sloth.
231. Author: danmdevriesDate: Tue, 6/9/2020, 1:36PM EST
Temps dropping and clouds rolling in.

Stopped sweating in my recliner.

Time for another beer.

MACS is dreamy...

gonna be 100 today, and over 100 for the next two days...then cooling off to high 80's for a few days after that...

tempted to go deep sea fishing with MACS, but wife thinks being on a boat crowded with strangers for 10-12 hours is not a good idea for an at risk old guy...stranger danger...

The boat will arrive back at dock with everyone dead like when the T-Rex got loose when they were shipping it to San Diego.

Rained a bit so I tethered my phone to the laptop and shopped trucks in the AC. 68 inside, was a little chilly but I'm not paying for metered electric so I keep it maxed.

Found a half dozen prospects sub 30k. I want white, grey, or red, 3/4 or 1 ton, 4 door crew, 4wd, gas engine. Cant find a way to make diesel work, would need to shop high 30s and I just can't swing that.

After work Thurs im gonna go through the car wash on my way home and take some pics and work on a listing. Hopefully sell on my next week off. I'd like 8k for my truck but would take 6500 if I pull the aftermarket stuff like my toolboxes and the radio, sub and amp. The speakers gonna stay, not worth the work to change those out for cheapos. But i can move the weatherguard boxes and the sub/amp to a new truck easily. Would be 3k to replace em all new.

In the last year I've put 6k into the truck, I need to get a little more than that back.

another margarita and a Viaje Summerfest Churchill.

I'm slightly more drunk than I should be mid afternoon. Liquor been flowing since daybreak. Wifes sleeping it off inside. I'm watching the birds fight over a piece of bread I threw in the grass.

I suppose I could be considered a panda? Not as big as a bear, but kinda fat like one... bigger than an otter and plenty hairy.

Otters are skinny.

Pandas are asian bears MACS..... that's cultural appropriation, and calling yourself a Panda means Delta's allowed to poke you in the butt.

Hey, you guys started with the fat, hairy bear crap... I was just trying to be accurate. I suppose I could be a black bear, but then teedub would have dibs on my butt (he's black ya know)... and he's weird.

A baby polar bear, then? Small, white and hairy?

Urban dictionary:
Gay slang for a grey haired, older, hairy chubby guy. Or a guy that looks like Santa Claus without the suit

I dunno if this is actually a term used extensively like Panda or Bear.... Urban dictionary tends to get a little crazy and I frequently wonder if they aren't just defining terms which no real person has ever used in conversation.
