So what's the damages for the house? Splitting 6 ways equals about a buck twenty, buck and a quarter each, yeah?

Need cash to pay Joel, and cash to pay your boat tab/fish cleaning... because they don't take cards.

What's really cool is I've had about $1200 bucks in my nightstand for about 4 months that I won in a casino that should cover this. Laugh

Think we have seven: Ant, Drafter, Drafter's bud, Joel, MACS, Victor and me.

Looking at the photos, with only 4 beds in the bedrooms and the couch (not sure if the other wide seat is a full sized sofa or love seat), we'll need two air mattresses, unless someone sleeps on the sofa up on the balcony...

maybe he'll pay for everybody's fish-cleaning fee...I think it's $1/fish, except for the big ling cod @ $2/fish...and they ask for tips for the galley cook and for the crew...

I'll bring a few spare rods for those who need them....no need to rent any gear. Between MACS', Opel's and my tackle boxes, we'll have enough stuff for everybody.

Total cost on the house was $743 but if drafter really wants to give me $1200 I'll use the extra as a down payment for next year's house...

Finishing up the jigs and teasers this weekend... a little behind on that... barely got line on my reel yesterday... squeezed 800 feet onto it... not gonna run out of line before hitting the bottom this time... 2 trips in a row that's happened....

Wife is off that day... I'll be picking you up in her car. It's a lot faster than my truck. BigGrin

May have to text Al when we leave. He can meet us at the house and we can have a glass of scotch and a smoke, maybe grill some burgers or sumpin.

Shame on you

You guys wanna spend the night at my place? I can heat up the jacuzzi and grill up some ribeyes. I remember having a bad experience driving home after some scotch (Macallan 15?) some bourbon (Angels Envy?) and a few beers (Spaten?) last time...misplaced my credit card and got lucky the next day...

My wife works that weekend, so she's home Friday. We see each other about twice a week for a day or two as it is. While that arrangement might work well for Dan... we actually like each other (still, I know, right?).

It sounds like a good idea... sleep at Al's, drink some beer, smoke, grill... wake up, eat some breakfast and hit the highway toward Morro Bay.

I'll mention it to the woman and see if she gives me the raised eyebrows.

After 31 years of marriage, I'd want to hang with my wife as much as I could. On the other hand, she'd probably give me a yard pass just to get me out of the house.

Your call, I'm good either way.

Never that. If I told my wife I was going, she probably wouldn't protest... but I know she misses me since our schedules have been conflicting.

Fishing is getting better... today's 10 hour trip had 27 anglers, 51 ling cod, and limits of rock cod.... the 12 hour last Wednesday didn't go... tomorrow's long range isn't going, so the spots fairly untouched...

Sunday is predicted to have 14mph winds and a high of 66 degrees... if that holds true, we'll be sitting pretty...

Are we sure the Sunday trip is going to Cape St Martin? I just looked at the schedule and it only says that for the Wednesday trip. IIRC it was also listed for Sunday last year.

Still 20 spots open. Wow... it was full by this time last year.

Not sure about st. Martin... i noticed that when the calendar first got put up this year and had the same thought... every Sunday trip up until last week said St Martin... now they just say 12 hour trip... I'm guessing it's just the way they auto filled info on the calendar, but I'm not sure...

If you filter the calendar for just the endeavor and just the 12 hour trips, they stop using the St Martin tag for the Wednesday trips and start using "Long Range" to describe both Sunday and Wednesday trips...

either way, i sincerely doubt brad would park the boat in front of the rock for 12 hours.... we're goimg somewhere long range... probably st. Martin...

long ride back was beneficial for me last time...I was whupped after catching all the fish and reeling them up (and I didn't land as many as Ant and MACS) ... even bringing the weight up when the Captain wanted to move to find another spot was getting tough...gotta do some arm and hands and finger exercises the next few days before we go, to avoid cramping up...maybe I'll go strangle some homeless people...
