"Arby's... we have the meats" - Ving Rhames

Arby's is long form for RB's... which stands for roast beef. True story.

When i started working in the beef industry i used to do the salmonella and e.coli testing for Arby's... at the time they were one of the only fast food places doing salmonella testing.... kinda weird, as salmonella isn't incredibly common in beef... and even if it was positive, they still took the meat... we were only allowed so many positives a year though... they used it more like an indicator of sanitary conditions at the facility than anything else...

All they bought was essentially fatless SBP's, or "small pieces of beef"... they ground that into a paste, mixed it with fat from another source, added some seasoning, pressed it into something resembling a roast, cooked it, and sliced it... voila, roast beef....

I saw them 4-5 years ago here in NH...not quite Pink Floyd(who is?)….but a really good show...very accurate to the original...I would say go see them and enjoy the show...the light show and video presentations are incredible, and the sax player and female vocalists were almost like being there...oh,wait....I was there=d> =d> =d>
Hope you go and enjoy the showBeer

Q.Does the name Arby’s stand for "RB," as in "roast beef?"
A.Close, but not quite. It comes from our founders, Leroy and Forrest Raffel, the Raffel Brothers, or "RB."

Trolling next door again....

Someone started a thread about internet bullies and trolls (naturally I'm going to click it...)

I never seen a group of incessant whiners in my life, omg... like troll heaven right?

Anyway, through a few warm up posts out there to get the ball rolling... nothing, nada.

The only thing that came was some of the bobbleheads recommended clicking the arrow to MUTE them (ie me...)... anyway, here's some dialog that followed:

Steve d. Bag: Thanks Terri, or just click on the down arrow to the right of their name and it gives you the same options, I’ve already used it.

Me: Pretty sure everyone in this thread clicked the little arrow by my name by now (seeing how I got absolutely no dialogue or discussion about this topic), so I guess I can say what ever I want!

Having trouble with neighbors on nextdoor disagreeing with you? Getting tired of the few people not nodding their head while you talk? Sphincter get a little tight every time someone tells a joke? Taking things out of context much?

Follow the Arrow ---->

This message has been brought to you by Zoloft.

Lighten up people, this forum isn't as bad as you think it is.

Richard Normal Guy: Nice one Ben! Now...where's that arrow?

Richard Normal Guy: My favorite part of this entire thread thus far? Ben's strategic use of the word sphincter, one of the funniest, yet least used, words in the English language.

Mike Normal Guy: My iris sphincter actually relaxes when Ben posts......

Me: Ben's sphincter service, you squeak 'em, we'll creek 'em.
