Good morning all. I met Johnathan Drew yesterday. Laughed and joked with him for about a half hour. A very nice, interesting person who is an absolute riot.

Did you bring him any celery? He doesn't get any in Esteli, so it's best to stock up when he's here.

Tomorrow, my wife and I will be celebrating our 38th Wedding Anniversary.
She is one helluva woman, and in all seriousness, if it wasn't for HER, I KNOW I would not be alive today.
The celebratory cigar for the occasion will be my last remaining OR (Pepin rolled) Padilla Miami 8&11 torp.

Happy Sunday.

All I have on my schedule is making a pot of chili and watching football on the couch or in bed.

Fall has finally arrived with temperatures last below 60F!

Got ribeye steaks cooking... a couple beers poured into a big, frozen mug... and I think a Monte double Edmundo is in order after dinner. I just ordered a replacement box, so I can fire up the last one I have.

Been craving chicken wings for a while. Hot wings. Very hot wings.

Bought some wings and fried em up. Tossed em with 3 sauces. Franks hot wing sauce, a local ghost pepper hot sauce, and Mad Dog 357 hot sauce.

So freaking good. Hit the spot 100%.

Spent 30 minutes shirtless on the deck in 38 degree misting rain afterwards.

Tomorrow's gonna hurt.

Edit: It's been 50 minutes since my last bite and I'm still shirtless in the basement, and sweating. Not sure why I find this pleasurable. Definitely is not once the food is gone.

I was sweating for the last 15-20 minutes of class. At the end of the class we were "strongly encouraged" to explore the changes to the EMR environment. Normally I would, as I'm getting paid overtime to screw around on a computer for a bit. But not today. I clocked out and spent a good 20 minutes shooting death lava out my ass.

I feel better now.

That would give me a swift reminder, I can't handle dairy. Either induces projectile vomiting or explosive diarrhea. The latter could be confused with the hot wing effects though.

Frying up another batch of wings for lunch. It was the same price for 2lbs fresh as 5lbs frozen, so I bought frozen. Gotta use em up. This time I'm sticking with the Franks wing sauce with a bit of the local ghost pepper sauce mixed in. Nothing crazy.

Glass of Woodford Reserve, washing it down with a bomber of 3Floyds Dreadnaught I picked up on my way home from work. Gonna hit the couch and play videogames till I fall asleep.

Really tired today. Blowed and mowed the leaves and I'm pretty well spent. Wife said I was wandering around all night. Checked the house cameras and yeah, I spent about 4 hours just walking around sitting in different chairs. Even went outside for a bit, in my underpants.

Any of you former old time stoners ever hear of washing your buds after harvest? Reading up on it, seems totally counter intuitive, but apparently produces some really clean tasting herb...

I'm tired.

I worked 36 hours of OT last pay period, and I've got 24 already this pay period. I worked 6pm Saturday to 6am Sunday... and then got up at 4:30am this morning to work 6am to 6pm today.

Maybe sneak another 12 in before it's over.

I can't switch shifts like that. That's what drove me to kinda quit in 2015, doing days and nights switched up in the same week(or even day). I only went back full time when they gave me in writing a promise of a straight shift, or at least a month at a time of the same shift. I was getting 8hr days, and 8hr nights scheduled in the same 24 hour day, and often held over for 16 hours after the night shift to cover the next day shift AND had to be back at 11p
