Bought tickets to the first ever, Green Bay Voyageurs game (USL 2), the 4th division in American soccer. Got there five minutes after kickoff, in the 12th minute, the game delayed for 30 minutes due to lightning. Spent $100 in the club store. The game never restarted. Chilled to the bone, broke, and saw 6 minutes of sport.

I feel like Danm.

Good morning, y’all

8, I still haven’t been to see our USL1 team, Birmingham Legion. Both boys have been multiple times, but I do watch on television.

Was surprised by the turnout. 1,661 people showed up.

They (the Voyageurs) sent a tweet inviting everyone back this morning for free @ 9:00 AM playing a continuation of last nights game, plus, will be giving ticket holders for last nights game, free admission to another. Showers on and off this morning. Just now getting the chill out of my bones. Not sure if I can talk my wife into it.

Watching Champions League today?

I think the Legion draws very well, too. And they have some pretty cool gear.

We finally retrieved my oldest son’s stuff from college a few weeks ago (nothing like paying rent on a house for 6 months that no one’s living in - but that’s life in a very, very small college town). So, yes, watching the final later with his 65” tv now sitting on the deck. It’s a safe bet that there will be drinks and smokes. Followed by some ahi tuna tacos.

Should be a good day.

Sounds like a great afternoon.

Negotiations with wife completed to mutual satisfaction.
-Leaving for the stadium @ 8:15.
-If we get upstairs (in the climate controlled area) she's all in.
-When it starts raining, we get out.

Fair enough.

Cigars at the lounge for CL final. Only a 55 inch tv, but that should do.

Wife and her co-workers made the decision to take part in a cancer walk today... It's hot and the air quality is terrible... They're expected to have one of their 3 team members walking at all times, from 7am to 9pm... I'm supposed to take the kids down at some point to help...

A doe wandering in the back yard this morning along with a rabbit and a chipmunk looking in the sllider and chirping. Wife gave him some bird seed and a chunk of watermelon. I took out some more chunks of watermelon for my friendly chipies. Gonna be in the 80s today.

There is also a Lake Garda in Connecticut. It was man made by an Italian immigrant who did well or himself and bought a couple of farms and build a dam to create the lake about 80 years or so ago.

Went to the cancer walk thing.... Not a good turnout...

Walked a handful of laps, came home to pick up a Saturday ups delivery that my gmail account informed me had arrived...

called ***** cigars to find out why they shipped me a couple handfuls of lfd's and Illusione's...

They didn't have a good answer, asked me to return them... i told them give me til Monday to decide if I'd return or just pay to keep them... Should I be asking them for a discount? They already paid to overnight ship...

Back to the cancer walk, few more laps... More people now but very few walking...

Back home for a sammich and an 888... Heading back in an hour or so...

Going reasonably well considering the weather and crowds n stuff. Thanks Ram.

Just got done serving up 30 large tacos. 5lbs ground beef, 1.5 head of lettuce, 2lbs cheese, 1.5 onions, 4 cans of beans and a pound of sour cream. Ran out of every ingredient at the last one. Perfect.

I'm gonna run outta beer tonight too. Last night though, unless it gets too late packing up tomorrow, then I'll head home Monday AM.

Can't believe I'm 4 days in already.

Big storm just whipped up over the lake and straight our way.

Had to shut down and tell everyone to seek shelter in cars and campers. I was at the showers and the power went out. Ran back to camper in the rain, two dudes were holding my canopy down to keep it from taking off.

This is fun.

Woke up Friday at 0800... my nose was kind of sore. Well, right inside the right nostril I had an ingrown hair. Got some tweezers and prepared myself for excrutiating pain.

I was not disappointed. Eyes watered for 5 minutes, sneezed excessively, and had a whole lot of white, yellow and red stuff come out.... then around 4pm, I get called in for OT.

Did 9.25 of the 12 hours and went to the emergency room. Nose would make Rudolph jealous... or a clown.

I have a serious infection. I'm taking 2 types of very strong antibiotics and a topical antibiotic. I'm feverish, sore, and my fkn nose hurts like hell... and I can feel my heartbeat in it. Frying pan

That's why you have one set of nose hair tweezers and one set of bunghole hair tweezers...

I had a ingrown hair once go all the way through my nose and come out on the outside... I feel your pain...

Got nothing accomplished. Felt great. Highlight by a glorious, world wide, humiliation of Tottenham Hotspur.

Misery (after Arsenal's 4-1 to Chelsea earlier in the week) does enjoy company. Roof, gutters, yard, and visiting dad on tomorrow's agenda.

I'd like to combine some things. With his broken hip, getting him onto the roof to blow the crap out of the roof gutters doesn't sound like a fantastic idea.

With some effort, you can get him up there. Just reinforce him into your shoulder when climbing the ladder. Then when at the roof, give him a good shove. Totally worth it. You don't want to do the job yourself.

Mornin' - the rain should be back this afternoon. I may get out and get some work done in the garden - maybe I can finally plant something before we go to Maine. Cold snap tomorrow and Tuesday and then it warms back up here.
