Hey... some of us conservative hippies were too busy with thoughts of the future and an 'exit strategy' to smoke dope.

It's called delayed gratification. I know how to party.... i'm just out of practice.

The part of the tube the down-stem goes into. He was trying to install some extra plastic part on the tube. He used used gorilla glue on it and we will test it out today. Like the gentleman I always tried to raise him to be, he went ahead and bought another one to replace it without telling me beforehand. I feel bad for him (except for the fact that I told him not to screw around with the plastic clip) whatever it is for. Sh1t happens.

Half day at work yesterday, then Noah’s Ark.

2 hours on the sunny deck
2 double Kentucky mules
2 cigars
2 hours sleeping on the couch

Breaking the theme was the bargain of the day. After rebate, a 1.75 of Evan Williams for $17. Not a standout 🥃, however, nothing wrong with it.

The way I’ve been going, it should last me a week or two.

a few years back a gang of us had dinner at The Spain restaurant (Cranston, not the one on the beach). The water boy seemed like a sharp kid and was joking with us. I mentioned to him that one of the wives' maiden name was Patriarca (her father was a second cousin and not in the Family Business).

The kid went around the table to her, took her hand, got down on one knee and said "may I kiss the ring?"

It was hilarious.

Good morning everyone!

We are done with our workout for today. Swimming and lifting. We will enjoy some additional outdoors time before the monsoon starts. Going sailing yesterday was really nice.

Coffee poured... will finish this and head out for the ol' 5 mile hike.

Frankie - Ray Sr. and Jr... they were doing their thing in North Providence (and Boston) when I was a kid.

I got strawberry cough and we just finished some paradise waits (31%). I can see both of those plus green crack to be my "go-to" strains until we start going to other dispensaries.

Green crack is good.... It's another we don't see anymore... Never had paradise waits but strawberry cough is a popular one for home growers... Probably has great yields...

G'Day ALL!

Happy start to the weekend, and Don't be BAD! HA.

See some of y'all tomorrow night/afternoon.

Got the place to myself for the long weekend, wife's coworker returned the favor of my wife covering for her Nurse mgr job while she was sick for around a month nd a half earlier this year and she booked a Condo at Gulf Shores, Al and luckily the place re-opened so they were still able to go and enjoy the weekend. Heckuva a 'Thank You"! They made good time up until the hit the stretch from Foley down to the beach highway, that might take a could of hours to get 15 or so miles!!!! I don't miss that part of going to the Redneck Riviera.

Looks look like I might be taking the little female chihuahua to the vet, she appears to have an abscess under one of her eyes, likely bad teeth and the fact that she's a turd burglar! I have to watch the little schitts NONSTOP while they're outside, wife must've turned away or got caught up in her phone for a minute and that's all it takes for this to happen.

Owned dogs all my life, but these two are the first turd burglars! I'm told that Chihuahuas are the worst and also the hardest to house train.

Not his pup. MACS himself just had the same thing and had to get it removed. Maybe he is a turdburgler too?

Took the boy fishing today, and catching for about an hour.

Hit up the spots I used to ride my bike or moped to when I was a kid. Two spots had no fishing signs. One spot where I'd stacked pallets to make a pier was inaccessible. Could see my 15 year old pier, but couldn't get to it. Another spot had fencing all around.

Went north to Wolf Lake. Not a bite. Stopped at Centennial Park halfway back, no bites. Had lunch n a beer, drove south to Cedar Lake and caught a bunch. Had a bass that snapped my line when I tried to get it outta the water. Landed a good 5lb catfish too. Bunch of white bass, but they were all about 6" no bluegill or perch.

3 mile walk with boy n dogs when we got home.

Talk about a good food day... I had an apple and oatmeal for breakfast. Then my wife said she took out a chuck to make some adobo for dinner. Um... it was 2 ribeyes, not a chuck, but holy crap did it turn out awesome! Meat and potatoes.

A handful of peanut M&M's round out the day.
