Happy Monday, brothers! Thankfully, I went out late last night after the snow stopped and cleared the driveway. Temps dropped to high teens and everything froze up pretty solid. I'm the only one who cleared the snow last night, so all the other houses in the neighborhood are going to have a rough time getting out of their driveways.

Make some coffee, open the blinds, watch the neighbors freezing as they clear their driveways.

Gotta love getting paid to poop...

39 right now. Predicted high of 69. Wife decided to make a smoothie this morning... so I'm wide awake. Vitamix is still loud, even in the garage. Brick wall

Good Morning! A clear 41 degrees this morning, with excellent air quality.

I have a little air quality monitor running 24/7

You can read the monitors with link: https://www.purpleair.com/map?opt=1/mAQI/a10/cC0#9/33.4134/-82.1032

so, when it's gonna be wicked hawt out, leave the wipahs down, but set the temp for max AC and use the remote starter 10 minutes before getting in the car.

same thing only different.

Almost the same. You don't have to shovel "hot"... You just slide into the pool and hydrate.

Unspoken benefit.

May as well use their water and TP.

tired today...spent from our small gathering for Super Bowl yesterday...only had our son and daughter and their families over...

but cooking and playing with the kids before the game, (could only throw the football around for about five minutes before right shoulder gave out) and setting up a TV on the patio and moving furniture wasted me...getting too old to be a party animal...

Went to the eye doctor to confirm the broken blood vessel in my eye is nothing to be concerned about with respect to my narrow angle glaucoma, which is benign. Nothing to be concerned about, but I just wanted to be sure. Nothing else I have to do today. I feel a nap coming on. 72F/64F today. 81F is tomorrow's high, but that is too warm for me this time of year. Going to be in the 80's thru next weekend. Back to shorts short sleeves and flip-flops.

Got a copy of the police report... dickface at fault has no license and no insurance... so as far as the drop in value of my wife's car goes... I'm screwed unless I take the dude to small claims court and he actually pays. Highly doubtful since he doesn't seem to care about having a license or insurance.

Sent a copy to USAA and they're telling me I'm still on the hook for my deductible if he doesn't have insurance? WTF? Why do I pay for Uninsured Motorist and Collision Waiver, then?

Insurance sucks. Question them. My sister got t boned by a guy in a stolen car. Her insurance refused to pay because they couldn't "prove" the guy was uninsured. Changed their mind after being asked to explain what policy covers a driver during grand theft

Adjuster is looking into it. Apparently "criteria" needs to be met in order to waive the deductible.

I'm calling BS. 100% obvious my wife is not at fault, and I pay for both uninsured motorist AND collision waiver... so WTF? Shame on you

HMMMMMMM...

I TOLD YOU THAT USAA F**KS y.o.u. OVER... ANY CHANCE THEY GET ..AND THEN SOME...

I have battled those USAA dudes over 3 different times....each time I learned more about how to out fox them...

The first time I got screwed...

The second time I surprised them...

The third time???
I f**ked them royally at their own game...and paid off my first mortgage in full ( it was a 15 yr and I was only 6 years into it)

Oh that was soooo sooooo SaaaaaWeeeeeetttt!!!

WATCH OUT...THEY TAOE EVERY CALL THEY MAKE OR WHEN YOU CALL THEM AND USE IT AGAINST YOU...

I LOVE THOSE USAA COMMERCIALS.. everybody is so happy and they love their veteran customers....
But not the "civilian sub contractors from the 1980's who got their insurance as a side perk thru the military industrial complex favors that needed done..and they couldn't do it"...

Yeaaaa ....RRRRRIIIIGGGHHHTTTTT!!!!

BWUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

49/76 Golf, cigar, beer

Dermatologist took two biopsies and froze about a half dozen pre-cancerous spots. I'm considering suing DuPont for that ozone hole.

Overdid it at work cause my ass n back were feeling fine. Running up and down stairs, did normal bending and twisting and lifting and stuff.

Paying for it now. Definitely not fine yet. Set me back 3-4 days on the pain levels. Around 0400 it started to hit me so I slowed down but the pain did not.

Oh well. Off for a week now. In the garage with a bourbon, a beer, and a cigar.

Yup, he has been working from home for almost a year now. I had often tried to get the site to allow teleworking, but their special security requirements, AKA lack of trust in their employees prevented it from happing except for the few of us that did it anyway. COVID did fix the problem.

Got the drill out and put on a wire wheel and made short work on the 4 burner grills. Worked great but burnt grease dust all over the place. Had to hose everything off.

I usually top a plain pizza with pepperoni, although sometimes I get a meat lovers.

That tops a plain pizza most of the time.
