Wife turned off the garage heater cause its too cold outside.... I don't know how that makes sense, the thermostat holds 40-50 degrees depending on how cold it is outside.

Anyways that means the garage is stupid cold and even after 20 minutes of the gas fireplace and the kerosene burner both going im just reading 45 degrees on the thermometer.

Whole lot cheaper to just keep it warm than to do this. It costs about $10 a month extra in natural gas to run the gas heater in the garage. If I ever build a barn I'm putting radiant heat in the slab.

Buddy has a pole barn and did just that with an old water heater . Also did it with his driveway.

Radiant heat in the driveway would be awesome, but id think more costly than it would be worth.

I'm picturing its snowing, flip the switch and then turn it off when its done snowing. But then you'd have water all over the driveway ready to freeze into a slick sheet of ice. Leaving it on long enough for complete evaporation would not be cheap.

Mornin' dudes... had to make a run to the store for creamer, bread and a birthday card for the kiddo. Didn't get to have my coffee until after the pupperoni play date.

It's all good now...

Spent yesterday making pulled pork...
8 pound pork shoulder, dry rubbed spices of a recipe from online....washed it off cold water, slathered brown mustard all over it, mixed up chilli powder, Tony catchers dry, pepper, salt, garlic salt& powder, cumin, a little dinosaur dry rub...
Rubbed all over the roast...
Covered with aluminum foil...stared it at 9.:20 am in the kitchen gas oven...went straight thru to 7:20 (10 HOURS)
at 250 degrees...
Took it out and the dogs were going nuts from the smell after it came out...let it cool for 90 minutes then seperated meat from skin And fat...it just fell of easily..

Just added one cup water and two tablespoons of apple vinegar....putting in crock pot with one full bottle of dinosaur regular barbeque sauce...then go to super purty and
Cheering like hell...the CDC WILL RAID THE PURTY FOR EXCESSIVE CHEERING...

My cousin has a heated drive way in Taho that runs on hot water. He has a small stand by water heater to run the whole thing, With all the snow there, he says it keeps the driving perfectly dry and clear of all ice and snow.

My prediction: Mahomes' mobility is just too much and the Chiefs win another one. Tampa and Tommy struggle because he can't move (at 43) and Spagnuolo sends pressure all day.

What the hell do I know, though... just my thoughts from watching very little foosball all year and barely watching some of the playoffs. Niners had the defense to stop the kid and were doing it... until they weren't.

think I'll clean off the snow from the cars. Thinking it will be brutally difficult if I wait until it stops snowing hours from now.

I was thinking this morning I should do that as I struggled to get the ice off the windshield I can barely reach and the wipers were completely encased in ice.

On a July day, in southern California, pop open a can of ginger ale, pour it into a glass on a table.
Let sit for a week.

The Kansas City defense is that flat.

Plastic placed over all the windshield and wiper, open door, tuck plastic in and shut door,go to other side stretch tight with out pulling the other side out, tuck rest in other door.put a sand sock along top in case wind blows hard.
Mourning just open doors and shack, ice/snow off plastic.turn around, and see a clean windshield.
Worked for years, have a garage now.

or just lift the wipers, preset the heater to defrost on high and use remote starter 10 minutes before going out. windshield clear, just do roof and stuff.
